These were pretty decent, lasted a while, seemed powerful enough to get the job done. Mostly I used them in my wireless mouse. I see "difficulty to open" is a review suggestion, and iirc this was a typical 4-pack of batteries which was perforated on the back so you can open and close that one battery-sized flap which keeps them contained if you don't throw the packaging around. ... show more

I used to buy only Duracell batteries, thinking they were the best until I had one of my remotes ruined because of corrosion, then the same thing happened with something else so I switched to Eveready batteries. I haven't had any corrosion since then. When I had my gas fireplace serviced (it takes batteries) the serviceman told me that I was doing the right thing, to always use Eveready batteries.
