These seem to be made well, but I have no idea how long they will last. However, I can say these are closer to a 100 watt bulb. than 150. If you need a super bright bulb then this isn't it. If you need a buib that is same size and brightness as a 100 watt standard than this is for you. Also the bulb lights from the end. Although it will work in a table lamp, I think it is more suited for a ceiling fixture (the light is focused down) ... show more

For ceiling light with dimmer wall switch, these bulbs do not dim without flickering. The seller was very responsive to this problem, the product seems well made, bulb is bright at full level, and the color is good (warm). If you don't need dimming, try these.

UPDATE: THE COMPANY ISSUED ME A WARRANTY CREDIT!! Both bulbs started to ticket 1 later & 1 bulb now intermittently works. Seller would NOT respond to Warranty claim. Ill go back to buying the Great Eagle brand.....at least they warrantied a bulb for me.....

I got the Energetic 150 Watt LED Bulb 2 pack (5000K, A21, E26 Standard Base) to fit some fixtures that I have in a salon space. The idea was to have the highest lumen count that the existing fixtures could handle. I'm not familiar with the Engergetic brand, but I didn't notice any build quality issues with these bulbs. Once operating, I didn't experience any operational issues, either. Though I don't use these with a dimmer, I did try one of the bulbs with a Z-wave dimmer just to test the power circuitry. Good news! No noticeable flickering or odd noises from the bulb! Downsides? Well, there's no super obvious heaksink. Considering you're talking about 21 watts, that may be an issue over time - however, with a 2 year warranty you have some recourse if you have a premature bulb failure. Still, I don't think it would be a good idea to put this in a closed light fixture. The other potential problem is the portion of the bulb that emits light. On the plus side you have a nice diffuser that gives about 70% of a sphere of light. The downside is that it's not the ENTIRE bulb body, and therefore not exactly truly omnidirectional light. That can be an issue depending on the type of light fixture you have. Generally, you'll have to go with an Edison-style bulb to address that use case. Those observations and concerns aside, about $8 per 21W bulb (with 5% off coupon, at the time of this review) is a great price for the light output. Recommended ... show more
