Strong clamp is perfect for sturdy attachment. The long lasting bulb is non replaceable, but I have used one for over two years that is turned off and several times every day, and it is still going strong. Great very bright functional lamp. I just bought another one to use on my bookshelf.

So far, I love these lamps. So much so thst I ordered more. The clamp is very strong and the switch midway of the plug wire is nice. Fast shipping too. They each arrived here in 2 days. I hope the lamp light lasts a long time. Time will tell.

Ordered this clamp light to go on the top of my daughter's vanity (it's art deco style and I wanted something that would emulate that look and keep an additional lamp off the limited surface area of the vanity). I was super excited about the $10 price tag, but when it arrived I wondered if I'd just invited a whole lot of trouble into my life. It was broken (the spring wasn't inside the clamp part and whatever plastic piece had been holding things in place were crumbled in the box). I debated just returning it and hoping to get something back that was usable, but fortunately, I have a solution-minded approach to things and a handy husband to help me. We ended up using a long bolt and nut to reattach the spring inside the clamp. It works beautifully now, but I don't make plans on moving it anytime soon. The entire clamp is made of the same plastic that I found crumbled in the box, so for as long as this lasts - GREAT. But just be aware... $10 isn't getting you the highest of quality. The whole thing is plastic. One last thing (and it's positive). The actual light is perfect for task lighting, particularly over a bedroom vanity to apply makeup.

The "padded" inside of the clip is actually hard plastic grips inside the clip. We are concerned that it will scratch our wood headboard. Would work nicely for an upholstered headboard (which we do not have).

I really like this light. I bought it to clip to the top of an old door that we converted to a bookcase. I have shelves that I thought this light would look nice shining down on. I love the brushed brass color and how it is very easily bendable to position it how you want. The cord perfectly went behind the clip and down the back of the door to plug so it’s unseen. My only gripes are...I wish the bendable part of the lamp was also the brushed brass color. It’s a shiny silver and it just sticks out like a sore thumb against the lamp head and clip as different colors. The light is also VERY bright which is fantastic as a desk lamp I’m sure, but for my purpose it’s very very bright! Overall, I like it and will keep it where it is. If the room is dark, I’m sure I will have no problem finding what book I want with this light!
