While the app loaded fine, my iPhone SE refused to recognize that the endoscope was connected. Fortunately, it worked on my iPad. There is a little adapter piece that you add to the end of the cord so that it can connect to your iPad/iPhone. The endoscope’s straight view worked fine, with or without the light. (There is an icon on the app that lets you choose whether the light is off, at low brightness, or at full brightness.) When I switched to the corner adapter, I noticed it was very blurry. I had removed the little tape strip from the mirror, but it hadn’t actually removed the protective film. After several minutes of attempts, I was eventually able to remove the film. That was very, very difficult to do! Using the corner adapter with the light, I kept seeing “bokeh” light spots on the view. These are from tiny dust particles. With the cleaning cloth I was able to remove most (not all) of these, but when feeding the camera through an area with spider webs and dust, etc, it is a frequent problem and limits visibility. (Not the endoscope’s fault.) The endoscope’s length is OK, but a longer length would be much more useful. It depends on what you’re trying to see and where. The connection to the iPad seems a tad flaky. It stopped recognizing the endoscope mid-session, and I think that was from the slight jostling as I twisted the endoscope slightly to adjust where it was pointing. After fully disconnecting and reconnecting, it did start working again. I’m taking a star off for not working with my phone at all, and for the touchy connection.

Downloaded the App yesterday. Arrived today. Plugged it into my Samsung...worked beautifully, as advertised. I'm rewiring my 100 year old house with plaster/ lathe walls. VERY useful tool for a remodel!

I was lured into this one because of the "high" image quality it was boasting and even throwing in the resolution at 1920p. Was pretty disappointed to see that it isn't much better than your run of the mill endoscope camera. Pictures come in fuzzy and the light isn't very powerful (pictures shows the varying intensities, off, low, and high). It does seem to improve if you get as close to the object as possible, but because of the fuzziness, it is difficult to determine what you are looking at sometimes. I'll keep it on hand, but I have a feeling that the situations where this will be beneficial will be very specific and rare. Came with a variety of tools including a small mirror attachment to get different angles, a very small hook attachment to fish out things (very small), an adapter for a lighting port, and a very cheap bag. It stores well with the included straps and has good rigidity in the cable if you need to utilize the full nearly 6-foot length. The camera itself gets pretty warm with continued use. The app is pretty basic but prompted me to download it as soon as I attached the scope. Pictures are housed in the app itself, so you'll need to manually save them to your phone for sharing. Pretty basic controls, simple to figure out, but a little clunky at times. On the pricey side to me since you don't get high quality imaging, guess I'll continue my search for one that has a better camera. AA battery for scale.
