Although before you buy it, make sure to buy metal holder because a mattress can easily slide on the metal frame. We have a very small house and needed a place to put a small bed, so my husband could use it. He works very odd hours and has to go to sleep in the early evening. Our bed didn't work out with me having to come in and out of the bedroom or when I came to bed, would wake him up. We put this in our large walk in closet and it's just the right size.
