It is very soft and a comfortable lightweight. Well made. Color is more of a Grey blue/white than shown but still attractive. Washed perfectly on cold cycle with no shrinkage. Dried outside, again with no shrinkage or change in color. Am very pleased with product.

Sadly, this I thought I was ordering a duvet cover and ended up with a summer weight quit. I wish Amazon wouldn't group things like this. I thought all I was doing was changing colors and, instead, I ended up with an entirely different product. So, look closely to make sure you're ordering what you truly want. The design is nice and the cotton material is soft and comfortable, making it great for light layering. It’s a bit thinner than I expected. When I first saw the tiny box I was thinking there is no way I’ll like it BUT this throw blanket is great! It reminds me of the super soft blankets I used with my babies. It’s lightweight but warm. I was looking for a light summer blanket when the house gets cool inside. I’m very pleased with it. The photos are after I washed it. The color and design are exactly as I expected. There wasn’t a smell when I opened the package. I washed it once before use and it smells fresh and clean. Great for napping in the day. It’s big enough for me and I am 5’11”. I need to get a bed sized of this for sleep at night. It feels like the blankets that just get softer and better the more you wash them. Don’t be deceived by the small box the throw comes in. It is a fabulous blanket. My new favorite for sure!

I'm so glad I got this blanket! I know there are 100% cotton versions and also 50/50 cotton/ rayon. This blend of 70/30 is great. The "cooling" is right when you put it on, but your body will warm it up. It's super soft and washed well. I got the twin instead of throw size, and I'm glad I did. Great if you sleep hot or have hot flashes/ night sweats! I won't be able to use it on it's own in the winter, but it will be fine the rest of the year.
