I wanted a chair reasonably priced chair that didn't have rollers, didn't have arms, was able to raise up sufficiently and it didn't look like an 'office' chair. This checked all the boxes. I have my desk in a family room so didn't want that high-back mesh look found in most office chairs. I wanted more of a family room/living room look. I was really hesitant to buy furniture online and am pleased this worked out so well. I love the look and it seems well made. I've only had it two weeks but like it so far, time will tell how well the fabric will hold up but I'm conscientious so optimistic it will be fine. Very reasonable price. Like others have said, this is much easier to set up with two people. I probably could have struggled thru if needed but glad I had the help. Lastly, I'm short and am happy with the max height of this chair. My feet hang a little but sitting higher is the more important thing for my ergonomics. I can either cross my legs on the chair, which is a nice option, or get a foot stool. Otherwise it may not be the be the best back support but it's fine for me since I don't sit back too much and it's a trade off for the look I wanted. The seat is cushy and comfy. I had originally purchased the no wheel version and the parts arrived well packed in the box, assembly was easy and everything looked great. After a couple of weeks, the chair did start to have a squeak and screws needed to be tightened - it was a bit annoying but it was easy enough to fix. The biggest con for me ended up being that because the gas lift is pretty skinny and the base legs are pretty slim as well - whenever I shifted too fast or happen to re-adjust my sitting position; the chair would tip and it would feel like I was about to fall out. It was also becoming cumbersome to have to move the chair around by picking it up everyday. I had an old ikea chair base with wheels but the plate did not align with the holes for this chair so I could not make the switch. So I was happy when option with wheels was in stock. The box arrived in pretty bad shape but the contents seem fine except the gas lift was not secure in the box (in my previous order it was securely wrapped in a foam sheet). In this order, it just had a thin plastic open ended wrapper so it fell out of the packaging and must have moved around in transit since there were some dings and scuffs on the barrel. The color of the chair was also different than the previous order, it seem darker and more greige than beige which would have been ok but I found a crack/tear at one of the corners of the chair right at part of the stitching. It made me concerned that it would just degrade more and that along with the imperfections on the gas lift - I had to return this order as well. There was no option for a replacement and I i had originally ordered with a coupon promotion so I'm not sure if I want to risk getting another bad chair at a higher price. I do like the ease of assembly and the concept but it's a bummer the with wheel option doesn't seem to be as good quality as the no wheel chair at least in regards to the cushion material and the packaging. ... show more

First, I love this chair! I’ve had it about 3 months, it’s so comfortable and perfect for sitting criss-cross. It has not lost its cushioning or anything. I sit on it 5 days a week for about 5-6 hours a day with no discomfort! Second, I’ve experienced really awesome customer service from the seller! When I first got the chair I had a problem with one of the parts, and it was too much trouble to disassemble and return for a replacement. So easy to assemble I put it together on my 15 minute break. It has a funny smell to it but I'm hoping that goes away soon. The material is very soft and comfortable. Will update later.

I love this chair. it’s super comfy and is helps remind me to sit straight to avoid back pain. However i thought i had ordered the chair that has wheels. When it arrived, i saw i had ordered the stationary chair. Is there any way for me to buy the bottom part of the wheeled chair for me to replace the stationary feet with??
