Great for monitoring blood pressure of a senior dog. Monitoring blood pressure of older dogs is very important for their health. But getting it accurate it hard bc they are worked up. We keep a log and take it to our vet. This keeps our girl going.

Bought this to take my beagle's blood pressure. The cuff works fine -- I measured his leg, so the size is right. It's just like an adult cuff, so there's not much else to say.

This blood pressure cuff seems extremely nice for the price. It comes in a soft sturdy zippered vinyl case and nothing looks or feels cheap. However it is NOT a size for an infant as the the description on Amazon says. The cuff is a size suited for a toddler or child up to around 5 years old. The range for the arm circumference size is printed 13.0-19.0 centimeters (or 5.11 inches to 7.4 inches) on this cuff. The width of the cuff is 3.25 inches which is bigger than an infant's upper arm arm would need to be especially when putting the stethoscope on the inner elbow area. The box clearly says INFANT, but the cuff would never work for a neonate or an infant. It would better work for a 3-5 child (depending on the circumference of the child's arm). As to my credibility, I am an RN and have taken untold thousands of blood pressures in my 40 year career. It is imperative to have the proper size cuff or the blood pressure reading will not be accurate no matter how expensive the sphygmomanometer and the cuff are. I gave the cuff 3 stars (IT'S OKAY) because of the wrong size description on the box though the APPARENT quality and the PRICE are appear 4 star, however I have no idea how it will hold up. I could immediately see it was too big for my baby, so I am returning it. Amazon accepted my return and will pay for return shipping. Yeah! (love) Amazon!! The BP cuff does come with instructions. No where on the box or product indicates where it is manufactured. It says only it is distributed and serviced by Elite Medical Instruments in Fullerton, California 92831
