On open, it seemed obvious this one punches way above its weight in price point. However, after a few sprays and letting it dry down, it was clearly blended very awkwardly. Too harsh & powdery, amber didn’t smell good, and had a hint of alcohol to it. After spaying a few times and letting it macerate, it’s a lot better blended and consistent. Smells clean and similar to Hugo boss absolu. Not an exact clone at all I would say moreso it’s inspired by the OG. Lasts 6 hours on skin, days on clothes. Projects good with occasional compliments. A good gym & casual bottle. I still haven’t seen any clones worth wearing out or any situation where I need to impress. So far this is another great way to smell good without wasting my higher end designer liquids Edit: after months if maceration, this is alot better. The powderiness and slight alcohol smell is completely gone and it smells very similar to Hugo boss bottled absolu/elixir. Its a bit sweeter and less depth. I get a ton of compliments on this.     • Impressive Fragrance for the Price, Not for the Faint of Heart
I recently picked up Lattafa Asad Elixir and overall I’m really impressed. The scent is rich, warm, and slightly sweet with a smooth blend of spices and woody notes. It definitely gives off a more “high-end” vibe than the price would suggest, which is a big plus. Performance is excellent, especially considering the price. I get great projection for the first couple of hours, and it lasts most of the day on my skin. It’s especially great for evenings, cooler weather, or when you want something a bit more bold and noticeable. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it can come off a bit strong at first spray, and it might not be for everyone if you prefer lighter or fresher scents. Nonetheless, it is a pretty unique fragrance. In my opinion, it is suitable for both men and women. That said, for the price, this is an excellent pickup and definitely worth having in your collection if you enjoy warm, spicy, slightly sweet fragrances. ... show more

The smell is amazing. I usually wear a woody scented cologne but this teeters the woody/ floral type of cologne. Perfect balance. The concentration is just right. I wouldn’t say it’s a unisex scent because of it’s masculine tones. Best directly on the skin and takes about 5-10 minutes to really settle in. Once it does, it’s up from there. The scent lasts all day, probably even longer if you didn’t shower. It stays in the clothing for long as well. Best bang for the buck hands down. Any major brand will cost you around $120 to get the quality of this scent. The amount you get is even better. Maybe I’m over hyping it, maybe I’m not. You decide. ... show more

It gets me a lot of compliments whenever I wear it, and the scent is incredibly masculine and appealing. The bottle is also beautifully designed and looks great in any collection. What impresses me most is the longevity—it easily lasts over 10 hours on my skin.
