  • Smart Buy
Color: Yellow and black
Bought this radio for my elderly Dad. Light weight so easy to carry. Not too big, just right. Love the different methods for energy. Practical. Works great.

  • Complete Package and easy to carry and use, clear instructions
Color: Army Green
My mom is 91 years old. She loves weather stuff and I've got her weather radios before. She likes preparedness stuff as well. This radio looked like it did everything with good reviews so I got it for her. It was smaller than I thought it would be but she liked this aspect, it's easy for her to carry and she can actually use the flashlight. She said that the instructions were very clear. She struggles to understand instructions at times, she didn't use the ninja oven I got her because she was intimidated to even read the instructions. So if my mom says the instructions are clear, they must be very clear. Anyway, good job on this. It seems like it has everything, battery back up, phone charging, radio bands, flashlight, lantern, hand crank, solar panels. Not sure what else you could want in an emergency radio. ... show more

  • Great little radio
Color: Green
Great little radio, all functions work well. The sos siren is very loud so use with caution in the house. Easy to charge. Good sound. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

  • Great little weather radio
Color: Camo Green
This little radio is packed with features that make it versatile and fun. When I first received it, I charged it up and it took over 4 hours to charge. Seemed like a long time but no problem. I use the FM band most and its nice to be able to set the Weather Alert so that the notifications will come in even if the radio is off. All the various bands work fine. Haven't used the hand crank. The volume is not adjustable to loud...its not that kind of radio. Reading light is strong while the flashlight is only good. The HELP Alert tone warbles and is LOUD. I'm very happy with it. ... show more

  • I recommend this little emergency radio
Color: Yellow
Love this little radio. Bought it for emergencies but have used it daily for a month. We have only had to charge it once. It lasted 20 days without a charge and was still good, but started blinking asking for a charge. So technically it never did run out of juice. Sound quality isn't your 90s Radio Shack stereo, but it provides music and it is fine for background music for the kitchen when cooking or cleaning. Even my 1 year old knows how to use it, so it is easy to operate. I have come to be attached to it as my daily little radio while cooking or cleaning the kitchen, and it doesn't need batteries unless you want them. I just charge with usb-c or crank and keep using. ... show more

  • Worth the price
Color: Yellow
I love it. You can make it really loud and the antenna is extendable so you can get a better signal and it works even when the power is out! Totally worth it. The flashlight and reading light can also get really bright so you can see easily in the dark and it comes ready-to-go! No setup required! This will help a ton if you ever go camping or the power goes out. Thank you :) ( Disclaimer: is not totally waterproof so do not dunk it in the ocean. ) ... show more

  • You NEED this!
Color: Yellow
I just went through Hurricane Beryl, and what was shocking was that the power went out for such an extended amount of time. Even in Cat 3's, we've had power the whole storm or only lost power for a few hours. I've never worried about Cat 1/2 storms because they've been super mild with a little flooding, but this was insane with 2.5 million people with a loss of power. This storm happened July 8, 2024, and it's now the 17th as I write this, and I have friends/family STILL without power. So as you can imagine, sitting in the dark, no radio, no power, no way to charge things or know what's going on was super frustrating. In life, its best you learn from your mistakes and better prepare for the future, so this was definitely a wake-up call on a lot of things storm related. I cannot express how useful this "would have" been, and I'm hoping I won't need in the future, but a good emergency item to have. The LIghts: Very bright! Walking down a dark hallway, everything is lit up. Both the reading/and main light have two settings high and low. Compass/Strap: Both useful if you were maybe camping or you need to walk room to room or place to place. I might suggest adding an additional strap so you can carry it like a purse or crossbody if you need to travel a ways. SOS: Very loud! You can't just sit and listen to it, you press that button and your neighbors will hear it! Useful if you need help. Radio: I got a lot of static initially, but nothing the tuner and antenna did not fix. Radio volume can be set really high as well. Love that you can plug in some old school headphones. The NOAA stations are good if you like to hear monotone continual weather information. Charging: Super convenient. I 100% have been purchasing all my emergency equipment based on the ability to charge in at least 2 methods, solar and USB, and this has five!!! They all work really well. Some faster/slower than others, but it's awesome to know that this won't lose power even if you have no sun and no batteries. Score: 10/10, would definitely recommend to anyone who camps, or lives in an area with a lot of storms or power outages. ... show more
