This is the best deal I have been able to find for this item. You get a lot of cards for your money. The others are a bit more pricey. I have a looooooot of uncarded floss lying around and I think this will be enough to organice them, might even have some left over for more floss! I was a little concerned about the thinness of the cards, but they are just fine. They are not too spindly and hold the floss great. In fact they seem a little bit bigger than other cards. I have no problem writing the number code but the additional stickers with the numbers are quite welcome. I have included some pics to show you. ... show more

Edit: after using for 5 months I’d like to add if you use a ring to organize the bobbins for a project, they’re probably going to fall off. Cardboard is too thin. These are not thin paper but they’re just a bit too thin for ring organization. I’ve been cross-stitching since I was 10 or 11 and so I’ve got nearly 4 decades of constant floss use and wasn’t often good about using bobbins. I re-did my entire storage system using these labels and bobbins. I wish the cardboard was a bit thicker as I don’t think they’ll stand up well to use but they’re better than many I’ve used. Easy to mark with a regular pen or sharpie without smudging/wearing off ... show more

Little pricey, but I like the cardboard, not the plastic so therefore I am willing to pay that price. I guess stores do not stock cardboard anymore.

    • Sort of thin but useable. I'll spend a little more next time or turn some spools out on my lathe.
Size: 165 bobbins
Cardboard is rather thin, so use two bobbins stacked together, load bobbin and then slide your loose floss end between the two bobbins rather than the slits. Or just glue two bobbins together.
