I like that the blanket is light and not heavy but still warm. I have fibromyalgia and sometimes can't have a heavy blanket. The color blue is amazing. I do recommend the blanket.

This blanket literally shredded in our washing machine. I would say it came out at least a pound and a half lighter. We had to pull the agitator to make sure it hadn't clogged the works. Fiber covered the inside of the machine and actually dropped off on the way to the dryer. The dryer was just as big a mess as the washing machine. I had to empty the lint trap twice with lint that was literally inches thick. I thought I was going to have to sue to have the washing machine repaired. AVOID at all cost! Anyone who gives a good review either got a different product from what I received or HASN'T washed it yet. Sorry folks, but those are the facts. ... show more

The blanket is nice and warm. Just what I needed. But the first time I washed it there was soooo much lint. I ended up having to take my dryer a part because of the excessive lint. It packed the lint filter and when I pulled it out there was so much that some went into the dryer. So I'd recommend washing at a laundry may the first time or taking a lint roller to it before washing. Lint was falling all over after I took it out the dryer too. ... show more
