I like that this cup keeps my beverage very cold for a very long time, even without having to use ice. It will keep the temp consistent without having to freeze or chill the cup prior like my old cup. I normally just take the coldest water from the tap possible and the cup will hold it at that same temp for hours. My only complaint is that the lid is not screwed on or clamped on or anything. There’s just a gasket, which is good at keeping the lid in place, but I’m not so confident it would survive a spill if it tipped over or was dropped. I really like this brand, and the cup works great. I have an hour drive to work and my coffee is just as hot when I get there as it was when I left the house. My only complaint is that I wish the straw was stainless or glass, as hot liquid causes a really strong, horrible plastic taste to seep into the beverage, as well as deforming the shape of the straw. I had to set it in hot water to restraighen it. Also, if you out the lid in the dishwasher, remove the gasket first. I didn't and now mine leaks when tilted. ... show more

I put ice and water in this around 9pm and the next around 11am there was still ice in it. It kept the water cold and ice didn’t melt. Great for cold drinks. I’m not sure about hot, I only drink water out if it. It’s not a good grip to hold though.

I love this cup!! I use with the lid on without the straw. I always have to have ice water near me, previously I was making about 4 trays of ice a day because it would melt so fast! With this cup, I can completely fill it with ice in the morning, and just keep adding Dasani through the day and evening. When I wake the next morning, there's STILL a little ice in it....
