This is a nice kids' water bottle . The stainless steel walls are thinner and not as heavy as the Pottery Barn Kids comparable water bottle but it does its job. it's not completely leak proof (when the cap is open) so I make sure to close it when not in use.

My son loves this water bottle. He loves the design and its ease of use (he is 5) Pros: 1. Pattern is very desirable to children. 2. Sizing. It fits in a standard lunch box. 3. Straw makes for easy drinking and less spill opportunities Cons: 1. The lid can open VERY easily if not careful. We put this in his lunchbox and it has self opened a few times and leaked through the lunchbox, through the backpack and onto our sons clothing. 2. Cleaning can be a bit rough if you do not have a tool to send up the straw. All in all kids will like it as it is easy for them to manipulate. Cup stays hot/cold for a long time which is great for car rides. Straw needs a bottle brush to clean but we have those so no problem. Otherwise cup is very study and a daily use around here.
