3.0 out of 5 stars | Chug Cap is a fail for Insulation
Color: Navy
The Chug Cap makes the bottle better from a sanitary standpoint. However, in terms of insulation, it’s a complete fail. This bottle is sweating more than “Ted Stryker” in that “Airplane” movie from back in the days. This happens because the threaded part of the cap is made out of plastic without the foam insulation that is present in the original cap. If you are looking to have cold water for a complete shift of work, the Chug Cap will not help you!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars | Chug cup is great, just need to keep it dry
Color: Navy
Our entire household has one of these beauties! Our ages are 4 to 84 and we couldn’t “live” without them. For Beach trips, Disney trips, shopping trips, heck even keeping our water icy cold overnight, this thermos is top notch. I’m fussy about them staying clean and they are super easy to wash. I have a 26oz and my boys have the 18oz size, all with the chug cap. IMO chug cap is so much better than straw——hence purchasing the 18oz size for the 4 yo versus 12oz with straw cap. Throw all the parts in the dishwasher and you can even boil the thermos to sanitize if needed. My only gripe is that with the chug cap, the smell that accumulates if you leave the cap on for extended amounts of time. Water gets stuck in the gasket area and you get a mildewy/moldy smell. It’s best to dry thoroughly and keep the cap off overnight if possible. I’ve never tried hot beverages in our Yetis but cold stays ice cold for at least 12 hours. I just fill to the top with ice and refill with water throughout the day.

5.0 out of 5 stars | Water Bottle of Choice for Employees
Color: Navy
We own a small restaurant business and have about 10 employees. We've tried all kinds of reusable water bottles and they've all broken, failed, or just didn't work perfectly. We bought these for everyone and they LOVED them. Pros: - Durable, they've gone through a lot in our work environment and still hold up well. No broken bottles or caps yet and we've had these going on 3 months now. - Keeps drinks hot/cold for a long time. It gets really hot in the kitchen and these bottles have kept our iced drinks cold for hours despite being right near the heat source. - Color choices are great. We've gotten a different color for everyone so they don't get mixed up. - The chug caps are fantastic, everyone likes them because it keeps their drinks covered for the most part. If you want to cover it fully, you can use the black cap on top of the chug cap. But you can take off both caps to refill your water/choice of drink easily. - Easy to clean. - The insulated bottle means no condensation on the outside which is very nice. Cons: - They did smell like plastic/have a metallic taste when we first got them but the smell has since worn off now. The metallic taste is still there but I'm sure that comes from the fact that it's stainless steel. You get used to it if you use it every day. - Sometimes the caps can be hard to unscrew but you get the hang of it. Overall, highly recommend for the price. These are tough bottles and do what they say they will do. We bought extra for home use as well and even buy them as gifts for friends now when we don't know what to get them.

5.0 out of 5 stars | Hot coffee
Color: Navy
Save yourself some time and buy this Yeti vacuum bottle first. I tried 3 other brand name bottles and returned all 3 because they did not keep my coffee even just warm for more than 4 hours with one that stated their bottle kept product hot for 20 hours. The Yeti kept my coffee so hot for 6 hours that you could burn yourself with it and warm actually 17 hours. I also bought a lid that allows me to sip liquid without taking a cap off all the time. Why buy anything else ????

4.0 out of 5 stars | Great product, hard to hold!
Color: Navy
I love my Yetis! I have several 20 oz Rambler cups and now this new bottle. I do have one small quibble for which I have to deduct a star. I have somewhat small hands and it is difficult to securely grasp of any of these products. I’ve solved the 20 cup problem with a slip-on handle (which doesn’t fit the drink holder in my car without issues) but now I need to solve to grasp on my new bottle. I can imagine people with arthritis or other hand grip issues might have similar problems holding this bottle. I see other brands have 3rd party silicone handles that slip on the outside of their product but nothing to assist the grip on the Yeti bottle. Is there anything that I can use to improve the grip of my bottle? Otherwise Yeti makes fantastic insulated drink ware!

5.0 out of 5 stars | Worth the money
Color: Navy
I purchased this to replace a Contigo JKH100A01 Camping Hydration Thermal Bottle, 24 Ounce I left somewhere. That bottle was $15 to replace and the one I had was starting to show its age (cracked handle). My wife suggested this Yeti. I like it. It is bulkier than my last water bottle but I feel like it will also be more durable. The thing that sells me on this water bottle, outside of the durability, is the ability to break it down into washable pieces. Water bottles get dirty and often will form mold in places you don't often look. My wife had a Camelback bottle she loved - it formed mold in a crevice that was difficult to reach. When I lost my Contigo I tried a Camelback with a foldable straw. My wife HATED that Camelback bottle as it made a strange sound when I drank out of it. It was one of those anti spill - bite down and suck the water through the straw. The sound was like finger nails on a chalk board for my wife. She ordered the Yeti for me and there is peace in the house again. I would buy this Yeti water bottle again and I would recommend this model and brand to others. You do get what you pay for - and to me it is worth the investment.

5.0 out of 5 stars | I love my Yeti bottle, want another one
Color: Navy
First time to buy such a expensive bottle. After buying cheap bottle which don’t last much longer, I chose Yeti over other similar bottle because of lid design. I love the fact that I can switch lids. 18oz defiantly won’t last all day but I’m only using it at home and rather filling up fresh water several times a day. I didn’t think I could do this but I can put my hand in all the way to the bottom to wash this bottle. I drink iced tea which can get a bottle dirty really fast. I can keep this bottle so clean. I love my first Yeti bottle so much, I’m thinking about getting small one for my coffee.
