As far as looks goes this couch is sleek and modern. The blue is a deep blue soft velvet. Seats two people comfortably. Now as far as durability and longevity, I am not sure. A review of the Elle Decor Simone Sofa - French Taupe Velvet The couch arrived timely. It was in a box with two plastic grips on each end to help move this rather heavy product around. As it come of the UPS truck, two of the plastic hand grips were already missing. The box is heavy so I assume the grips just pulled out. That made it bit more difficult to get it into the house. It was relatively easy to assemble the couch, so not any real issues there. The velour cushions seemed to have lines in them from the way they were packaged and it was hard to get those to wipe out so perhaps the company needs to rethink how they package the cushions. The couch is solid when you set on it and it is comfortable. If you had children or pets you would maybe want to put a cover on it because of the velour coating and the fact that everywhere you touch it or seat on it you leave a print. However, you can fairly easily wipe the marks away by swiping across it with your open hand. It is a nice size couch and I can recommend the couch to anyone who is looking for this type of couch. This is one classy looking piece of furniture. The spindly looking legs are just so different than most couches. It is very small, almost like a love seat and my only reason for giving it four stars is because you can't stretch out and sleep on it if you are tall. Sleep in your bed or another couch I guess. Great little couch for my one bedroom apt. It's easy to assemble, decently sturdy and surprisingly comfortable. Only complaints are that cushions get squished pretty easily. If you have a dog or cat, it'll pick up hair easily as well. In all -- it's a great little couch if you're in a smaller space and don't need a giant piece of furniture.
