I have had the controller for a while now and so far no issues. One thing I will warn potential/new buyers is the joystick problem and how to fix. The joysticks actually unscrew which if you spin them to the left or right (which I do mindlessly) that is how to make the problem happen and how you fix said issue. The controller face plate does pop off easily if you need replay or clean anything so don't throw it

The product is poorly marketed, and my wife mistaked it as a new controller. Even considering her lack of knowledge of these things, this should be more clearly marketed as what it is. Refurbished. The charging dock, doesn't work properly. The controller needs to be repaired, I ordered a soldering kit and thumbsticks to replace them; because the stick drift makes it unplayable. The Elite 2 controllers internal parts are really sensitive, and I wouldn't risk a refurb from a 2nd rate seller; unfortunately my wife already purchased it.

I'M SO HAPPY that I spent my money on this product that was not only packaged poorly but also didn't work (at all). I thought I was getting an authentic Microsoft controller but I was sadly mistaken. After I opened the dented box and removed the controller from the paper thin bubble wrap, that someone clearly was in a hurry to put on, I thought I'd make sure it worked. (Spoiler alert, it didn't). I then figured "oh it must just need to be charged. Surely this refutable business wouldn't ship an already damaged (scratched) product AND not make sure it works first." After charging it, the controller wouldn't turn on. I plugged it in and turned it on and it lit up! Wonderful! Once unplugged it worked for a few minutes and started blinking. I thought I'd give it another try so I turned it off and attempted to turn it back on. You'll never guess what happened... If you've made it this far, don't buy from this seller. I don't even have a witty remark about it. Just don't.

So I got this as a new controller it didn’t come with half the stuff my other one did and it works ok but some of the buttons are not going down that far and i honestly thought it was broken it came with only the back paddles none of the extra stuff that would come if you bought it from xbox it’s feels cheep and not like a real Xbox elite controller should don’t buy this
