Bought it to make soup. Worked great! Plenty of power (I got the 500 w). Looks and feels like a quality product. Easy to assemble and take apart to clean. The "on" button is conveniently placed. No complaints at all. I would have expected to pay twice the amount I paid. You won't be disappointed.

It's a nice little light duty mixer. the beaters are shorter than normal, so I had to be choosy about the size of bowl I used else the beaters won't reach to the bottom to blend everything together. Because it's so light, it's easier to use when beating whipping cream or egg whites to peaks. The part that you're supposed to use to 'store' the beaters, is just weird. It's a totally separate part and is supposed to snap onto where the beaters do, then you clip the beaters to that. It didn't snap on to the mixer, and the beaters were way too hard to snap in/out, so I can't use that part to store at all. But as for the blending power of the mixer, it's pretty good. My favorite part is it's flat bottom, it stands on it's own! ... show more

Of course it’s not the best immersion blender on the planet — this is very budget-friendly! However, I have had very few issues with it. Just clean it well and give it time to cool down, be patient with it and blend in pulses. It takes some time to work out a groove with it, but considering the price, this is decent. ... show more
