It's a nice little light duty mixer. the beaters are shorter than normal, so I had to be choosy about the size of bowl I used else the beaters won't reach to the bottom to blend everything together. Because it's so light, it's easier to use when beating whipping cream or egg whites to peaks. The part that you're supposed to use to 'store' the beaters, is just weird. It's a totally separate part and is supposed to snap onto where the beaters do, then you clip the beaters to that. It didn't snap on to the mixer, and the beaters were way too hard to snap in/out, so I can't use that part to store at all. But as for the blending power of the mixer, it's pretty good. My favorite part is it's flat bottom, it stands on it's own! ... show more

What do you say about an economy hand mixer? It does the job for general home use. I like the fact that it was reasonably priced and has enough power to do the job, but surly would not be the choice for a pro. Works good, and better than attempting to mix by hand with a spoon or fork.
