So, I needed a solid lamp for our entry table. I've been looking at a lot of local stores and nothing was really peaking my interest enough to pull the trigger. We have two other lamps in the room that are statement pieces so I knew it had to fit that vibe. I saw this lamp, and though pricy, I figured what's the worst that can happen? It isn't what I thought and return it? LUCKILY and to my amazement I will not be returning this lamp. It is is gorgeous. The packaging was extremely secure and impressively excessive. The lamp arrived undamaged and was very easy to piece together (just the shade, shade frame and metal piece to assist it attaching to the base). It is gorgeous and the quality is worth every cent. This lamp is very pretty and well made. The night light bulb in the base gets very hot, so if you have small children it might not be the best selection. They can easily reach the bulb and burn their fingers. Other than that, it’s a beautiful lamp.

This lamp is stunning. I bought this for my son in law. When he turned it on for the first time the nightlight blew. He went to Home Depot and purchased a bulb that was different than the 1 it came with, but so very sharp. Very, very pleased with this lamp, so much so that the rule is when I’m there the nightlight feature must stay lit. As for brightness, it does hold up to a 150 bulb, so depending on what type u purchase u can make it as bright as u like. I bought the soft 150 equivalent as I can’t stand the brightness the daylight bulbs exhume. But this lamp is a winner. There’s no assembly to it that I know of either….. ... show more

I just love this lamp and it sells out quickly, so if you like it, buy it. I love the uniqueness of the metal trim on the shade as well as the vertical light in the base. It's a great craftsman style, well made and you don't see it in all the stores. It's easy to put the shade holder in place. Just remove the paper in the sockets before screwing in the lightbulbs.
