I've been on the fence about this for sometime. Glad I waited a little longer. I got it during the 2 day October prime deals for $179. Use it with my xlr Fifine mic and Voicemod. Makes volume settings a breeze and quick access to programs and effects for streaming. Wave Link software was a bit of a learning curve but plenty of youtube videos for direction. You can use multiple stream decks as well which is great. Having stream controls on one and soundboard on another. Purchased this for the macro functionality and the built in XLR mic support. It eliminated two desktop devices (an XLR interface and Cloudlifter) and added the macro and knob controls. I’m always a bit dubious about products like this and the Apple versions of their software. In this case that concern was for nothing. It works quite well on my Mac Studio with an Apple Silicon version of the software. The add-ons in the software are quite useful and I’ve been able to set up scene of macros for when being productive (DaVinci Resolve) in meetings (Zoom, Teams, PowerPoint, etc) and when playing (Discord). ... show more

After using the GoXLR for a few years, I wanted to tone down on the desk space and just go with an audio mixer. The Stream Deck XLR is sleek, works just as well as a regular stream deck, and is compatible with the plugins and apps that Elgato already offers, with long term support. I will say the only two gripes I have with it is that the sound is a little too loud between the outputs, and the touchscreen isn’t as sensitive to swipe across and move to a new page. ... show more

This thing absolutely BANGS. This is one of my favorite desk accessories in recent years. I think I may have been the target crowd for this, as I had a normal Stream Deck Gen 1 and a Wave XLR, in order to declutter I bought this and I have to say this is such a good product. The knobs offer so much utility that I didn't realize I wanted! Also unlike the Gen1 Stream Deck, this thing feels premium, there's a solid weight to it and I actually like that it has less buttons than the normal Stream Deck, I didn't need all that. I'm not a streamer, but this is still such a handy tool. As for the mic portion, it seems like my playgroup can hear me just fine so I believe the sound quality is quite good. 10/10 would recommend. ... show more

I used to use the wave xlr. I wanted the stream deck for individual application audio control. I got this since desk space is limited. It impresses me with the amount of options it has to customize it. Plus I was able to carry over all my vst and eq data from the wave xlr since it still uses the wave link app. It powers my at 2020 the same as well. Both supply phantom power. Only problem I have had is that rarely the mute button doesnt work. It will show im muted but my friends still hear me talk to my cat lol. ... show more

If you want to plug in a mic and go… bless your optimistic heart. I bought the Elgato Stream Deck + XLR because I thought, “Hey, buttons and knobs! How hard can it be?” Turns out: very. The setup is basically an unpaid internship in Advanced Obfuscation. The “Fun” Begins: Step 1: Spend the better half of a productive day wondering why you can’t hear yourself in your headphones. Step 2: Discover there’s a buried setting that controls the mystical balance between Mic Output and PC Output. Finding it felt like unlocking a hidden dungeon in a 90s RPG—minus the treasure. Step 3: Finally get everything dialed. Angels sing. Audio is crisp. Life has meaning. Plot Twist After Reboot: Reboot PC → ALL. YOUR. SETTINGS. either vanish or return as interpretive art. My meticulously crafted profiles apparently joined the witness protection program. I didn’t know a piece of hardware could gaslight me. Tutorials & “Support”: OEM guidance? Imagine a map labeled “Here Be Dragons.” Community/influencer videos? Hours of cheerful, conflicting steps from folks who, based on results, don’t actually use this thing. It’s like learning to bake bread by watching five chefs argue about whether flour exists. Daily Vibes: Wanted: audio interface/stream controller. Received: a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure novel where every ending loops back to “Did you check the other secret menu?” The knobs are nice though—perfect for slowly turning down your expectations. I love my Stream Decks. All 9 of them! (plus 2 Pedals) My favorites are these Stream Deck + ones. I now have this one with the XLR dock and my other one has the USB Dock. The best part imo is that Elgato keeps making improvement to the software that runs these and their functionality. With the dials on these, the number of functions you can set are amazingly high with the "Dial Stack". Now with the recently released "Button Logic" you can use one button for 3 different functions with a single press, a double press and a long press. Lastly, setting multiple pages is very easy and nice because you don't have to give up a button on each page for page navigation; you just swipe the LCD screen! The XLR dock allowed me to free up desk space AND a very needed USB port. Kudos Elgato for another W! ... show more

Super helpful and simple to install. This Stream Deck has been extremely helpful with handling everything regarding streaming including discord, spotify, and handling streamlabs. The buttons feel nice and responsive the the dials on the bottom also feel nice and easy to use. I use an XLR mic specifically with the deck and the sound quality works great and the noise level can also be adjusted which I find very helpful. Overall a very good purchase and worth the price ... show more
