I have always been a fan of Timex watches - they've always been reasonably priced, and they last a long time - you may remember the slogan of 'takes a licking and keeps on ticking' from back in the day. I also really like the Indiglo. I still have other Timex watches that are over 30 years old, one that my mom wore for years, and some of my my own. These are some of the easiest watches to replace the batteries on without having to go to a shop. This particular watch I like a lot for several reasons - It's easy to read The case isn't huge for my wrist (I have very small 6" wrists) I've been wearing it for a week already and it's kept perfect time. So far I haven't scratched it, which is amazing for me My reasons for taking off one star I wish the second hand was a darker color so it was easier to see. The strap is really thin - like ribbon thin. I found that the watch would flop around without me making it uncomfortably tight. Overall, I love this watch, but I did buy a different strap for it, and it's super easy to swap out with different types - just get a 16mm strap and it can be a pass through type or something that only connects on the sides and you're good to go. I opted for some elastic straps because with my skinny wrists I wanted less ends to catch on stuff. ... show more

Love it! I’ve always owned Timex & have never been disappointed. Though I wish it were easier to change the battery. I can’t find the little notch to pop open the back & always have to take it to the jewelers to replace battery.

Love the appearance. Easy to read, light feature is great. Sturdy, a little heavy but not uncomfortable. My only complaint, as I mentioned in separate review of extra band ordered, is these bands are rough and scratchy in spots around edges. This floral band wasn’t as uncomfortable as the rose/gold, and I can wear it by turning the watch face to the inside of my wrist. It seems to be softening with wear. ... show more

I like this watch. It is simple, looks nice and is easy to read. I swapped out the band for something sturdier and a color I liked more. My only complaint is that sometimes when i am trying to focus I can hear it ticking -- I am very sensitive to sounds -- and I find that distracting.
