The Universal Audio Apollo Twin Duo Gen 2 generates quality sound. Like many people today, my "Studio" is in a bedroom. I purchased the Apollo Twin Duo to replace my Apollo Solo. The Solo is also a good and reliable interface. However, after recording guitar and bass on the Apollo Twin Duo Gen 2 the recording quality was significantly better than the Solo's. UA provides a UAD-2 plug-in package with this interface. I purchased the Studio+ edition which comes with 50+ plugins. The essentials package, the other alternative with the Apollo Twin Duo Gen 2 comes with a substantial number of UAD-2 plug-ins similar to those of the Studio+ package. I use the Apollo Twin Duo Gen 2 on my Mac Mini Pro with the M2 processor and the OS is Sequoia 15.3 -- Apples most current operating system. The Apollo is fully compatible with my MAC.
