The Universal Audio Apollo Twin Duo Gen 2 generates quality sound. Like many people today, my "Studio" is in a bedroom. I purchased the Apollo Twin Duo to replace my Apollo Solo. The Solo is also a good and reliable interface. However, after recording guitar and bass on the Apollo Twin Duo Gen 2 the recording quality was significantly better than the Solo's. UA provides a UAD-2 plug-in package with this interface. I purchased the Studio+ edition which comes with 50+ plugins. The essentials package, the other alternative with the Apollo Twin Duo Gen 2 comes with a substantial number of UAD-2 plug-ins similar to those of the Studio+ package. I use the Apollo Twin Duo Gen 2 on my Mac Mini Pro with the M2 processor and the OS is Sequoia 15.3 -- Apples most current operating system. The Apollo is fully compatible with my MAC. Universal audio doesn't have phone support and they do not answer their emails. Luckily Amazon let me return my item, but they did have to charge me a restocking fee. If you buy universal audio, you're potentially throwing your money away cuz they will not help you if anything is defective or if you need troubleshooting help. ... show more
