  • Wow!!
Color: Purple
I absolutely love this! First of all I have to say this replaces a bigger rollator I had. It was starting to show some wear. When I would go to Dr appointments, I would wear out if it was a long walk and needed a wheelchair at times. This fits the bill. QUALITY: This is well made and sturdy. Love the big wheels. You feel safe in using any part of it and is not clunky to use. FUNCTIONALITY: The wheelchair part has a comfortable seat and the foot rests securely stay out of the way when not needed. You set back further in the seat and this helps to prevent the seat from giving in the front as my other one did. You also don’t need to remove the bag to sit down in it since the bag is at the same level as the seat. This is easy to fold, light in weight and small enough to put in the trunk without having to adjust it. Big plus! I also like the ability to move the back brace quickly and easily. What would I change? Putting a rubber coating over the wheels to help the brakes grip better. This is a common issue with these types of devices. However, this is only a concern if going down steep hills. I just received this yesterday and will post an update if anything changes. Update: When I sat in the wheelchair, it was extremely hard to push. I called customer service and they asked me to send them a video. They responded promptly, told me the wheel bearing was bad and sent me a new wheel. However, customer service was less than nice about it; didn’t seem to care about the inconvenience or even apologize. ... show more

  • Best Product Ever!
Color: Purple
This is probably the best thing I have ever purchased!!! I bought this rollator to take on a recent cruise. I had so many people with mobility issues stop to ask questions. It's easy enough make thinner when traveling down hallways and carts were in the way, I didn't have to worry about it tipping over when collapsed and parked, extremely easy to transition from walker to wheelchair and back again. Larger wheels made for a smoother ride and easy to push when used as a wheelchair. I bought a large storage bag for when it went into baggage so it didn't get too scratched up and to keep the foot rests from getting lost as they do slip off ocassionally when the rollator is on it's side or upside down. I'll use a piece of velcro next time to keep them in place. Using as a wheelchair, the seat belt is crucial or hang on tight. We learned the hard way to go slowly over transition strips or bigger bumps in the concrete. When hit too hard and going too fast...rollator comes to a quick stop and you will fly right out of the seat. It only takes one time and you learn!! ... show more

  • ELENKER All-Terrain 2 in 1 Rollator Walker & Transport Chair
Color: Purple
We needed a lighter transport chair as the old-style wheelchair was too heavy to lift. This is perfect for getting in and out to transport. The way the legs fold in allows them to remain with the chair so they are always available when needed. It was easy to assemble and is a very sturdy wheelchair. Comfort is where it starts losing stars. The seat is hard rather than the sling-style of the traditional chairs. That wouldn't be bad except that the seat is about 2 inches too tall with jabbing arms that dig into the underside of your legs. They are the prongs than hold the carry case. This makes the chair horribly uncomfortable so that you want out asap. Perhaps if you're using the foot pedals it's more comfortable? The next star loss is mobility. It is very difficult, nearly impossible, to move yourself around. You're too tall to use your feet to scoot along and the wheels are too small to be of assistance. Also, the way the back wheels are situated back from the seat make backup turns ridiculous. I have to use my 2 canes until Sis has time to give a push. Otherwise, it is lightweight for trips away and seems sturdy. Just uncomfortable and clunky. ... show more

  • I really wanted to like this.
Color: Red
I really wanted this rollator/transport chair to work well. If it had, it would be a Godsend. Unfortunately, that was not the case. To be fair, it came partially assembled and finishing it only took about 15 minutes without any tools or too much cursing. Instruction book was about what you expect for what now passes as instructions. As a rollator it was adequate. But the minute we tried to use it as a transport chair it was a big no go. As others have mentioned, there is a tendency to tip forward, veer to one side, and was impossible to push even on a level concrete (garage) floor. To be fair, I am not a lightweight, but the chair was rated for 300 lbs. and I am under that weight. Even so, my wife could barely budge the chair with me in it. And when she did I was almost a%% over teakettle. We switched positions (she is far lighter) and I could barely move her in a straight line. She lasted about 15 seconds before jumping out and accusing me of trying to kill her. Seriously - it's that bad. I'm a candidate for knee surgery in November but like to stay active so this looked like a great solution. It ain't. And it wouldn't surprise me to read about a class action lawsuit once someone gets seriously injured. C'mon Elkener, stop being deceitful and greedy. Either tell your potential customers that this will not work for anyone over, say, 175 lbs. Or, better still, make a combination rollator/transport chairs that actually works the way you claim it does. Oh, and in case you were wondering, I returned it. ... show more

  • Sturdy, but difficult
Color: Champagne
Bought this for my partner who has EDS and he uses it daily. Very sturdy yet light and easy to pack up and remove from the trunk. But its size and shape are inconvenient to get into most spaces, unless you fold it. When I push him in it, it's really hard to make turns and the leg holders are not adjustable. Its also helped me through the entire process of breaking my leg, but everyone who had to push it for me found it extremely difficult to turn and maneuver. It also does not go over bumps well. As far as the sturdiness of the chair it is easily foldable and despite how light it is, carries 180-260+ lbs very well. So complicated rating but because it has had no breaks or hardware difficulties in 4 months I give it 4 stars. ... show more
