While this is soft, I love the dark color and sheets fit just fine over it what I hoped was that it would be a little thicker. Really didn't make much of a difference in feeling like something substantive was over my mattress to help with more support or comfort. It’s okay. Not nearly as thick as they want you to believe. I’m now having to buy a gel infused foam topper to put under this so my shoulders and hips can get some relief. This just didn’t help much at all. Way too thin

So far so good! Got for my son's move into the college dorms. We had to move him in quickly because the room was small and his roommate showed up at the same time so I didn't get a chance to jump on the bed myself and check it out. Thankfully, my son (who is extremely picky and was very unhappy to move down from a full bed to a twin) said the bed is extremely comfortable! I was actually surprised and it has to be because of this college topper because I the regular mattress was extremely hard when I had to plop it down to put everything on it. This topper fit perfectly on the twin xl mattress-tight but without struggling to get it over the sides. For the price this is a good buy because I genuinely expected my kid to come home the first week complaining of back problems but he is uniquely happy despite the loss of real estate. Time will tell on the durability as it is pretty new, but as of right now, we are happy with the choice. ... show more
