After much research, we got this firepit in anticipation of building our new lanai/patio, and had a half-circle of concrete poured to accommodate it, as well as having a natural gas line run under the concrete before the patio was poured. So no propane tanks to have to change or mess with. It's terrific! Just the right size -- heavy, at nearly 200 pounds, but very stable as a result -- and just the right amount of heat and flame -- not a roaring inferno, but a nice warm, steady fire; good for s'mores, or just sitting and talking with friends. We love everything about it. Super-easy to light; comes with a nice cover; seems very well-made. We worried a bit that the faux log would look tacky but it's fabulous! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Very impressive and unique product. Provides a lot of heat as well when unit on high. Easy to install with the help of Nicks hand truck and some cardboard.
