My power washer stopped working and i thought it might have been the motor itself. But a buddy of mine recommended that these switches on them then to go out if the fuse inside does and well not wanting to fork over 200+ for a new power washer this was a cheap and simple test to see if this was it. Super easy to install just take of and reinstall just as it was before. And lo and behold my power washer works again good thing since that machine has helped me out a lot and does everything I need it to do. If your power washer or other device that uses this kind of switch doesn't work this is a cheap option to check.

My electric Ryobi pressure washer died. Suffering from the twin diseases of being cheap and poor, I jumped on YouTube to see if an expert there could help me get it going again. I tried several suggested fixes, but it was still dead. Several videos said that the electric plug with a built in Ground Fault Indicator often failed and this item was a replacement for around $20. I had to try it and yes, that was the problem. It was easy to replace. I could use some of the old plug's mounting hardware. Be sure to check if you need a two wire or three wire plug. This saved me hundreds of dollars, compared to buying a new washer.

I have a Sun Joe SPX404-MAX electric power washer that worked on day and not the next. After troubleshooting and determining that power was not getting through the plug to the wires, I purchased this and within a few mins to swap out and the unit fired right back up!

My husband was so happy that this plug replacement for his power washer really worked after he installed it easily and now the machine works like brand new. The precious plug must have been defective since we always had trouble using the machine when we first bought it until I suggested that if it was a power issue to try changing the plug. Apparently the plug was the issue from the manufacturer.

Cut the old wire, stripped the smaller ones, though I was surprised to see that the blow dryer cable didn't have three wires (to include a ground) in it. Only two. One was Brown, one was blue. I guessed the brown to be the load and the blue to be the neutral. Apparently, I was correct. Plugged her in with my 9 year old son at the ready with a fire extinguisher. Fortunately (or unfortunately if you were to ask my son) - everything went well - no fires and the blow dryer works and my marriage and wallet are better for it!
