I've been resin printing for several years and always had intermittent issues. I never imagined my resin wasn't warm enough. When I bought my Saturn 4 Ultra I thought my troubles were over - oops. Had a couple failures and finally decided perhaps I had an issue. I started with this because I wasn't going to try the fermentation belt with the tilt vat. It installed in a snap and wow, it actually heats up the inside enough to heat the resin. It's not fast, but it is reliable. I connected the power to a smart plug so I can fire up the heater before I even get ready to print and let it get things ready. Surprisingly, the filter even takes care of the odor. I printed a custom mount as I was going to use this with a fan to vent the fumes outside, but discovered this doesn't have enough horsepower to heat the printer with a big old hole open to a vent in the back of the printer. Fortunately, the filter does the trick and I get no odor coming from the printer.

So far so good. Bear in mind, I live in AZ and it's not THAT cold in the garage during winter time, but it's working just fine over night and shuts off when it's warm enough. It turns off when it reaches between 25°C and 27°C, it's clearly got a an ambient air thermometer in there and shows you what the temp is currently. I can't speak too much for the air filter since I'm desensitized to the smell already. It's nice in that while not perfectly like it's mean to (it comes with hardware for the Elegoo printers) Anycubic includes a little notch on the bottom of the lids and the cable feeds through there just fine. I don't know what the resin temp is, but once you figure out how to work it into your work flow. You keep the lid on with the heater going and make sure you're tuning your resin a little, maybe keep the unopened resin in the house until you need it so that it's at a decent temp when it goes in the vat. I really like it and highly recommend it.

Works fine. Easily attached, quiet, etc. I'd give it five stars if it had the capability to set a temperature within a band, e.g. 25-30C. As is, only heats to one temperature but I have found Elegoo's ABS-Like 8k resin seems to work better at temperatures higher than 25C.

Nice little addition to my Saturn Ultra. Definitely improves print quality, I highly recommend if you have a printer that supports it. It's fairly quiet too, not much louder than the printer itself. The cord does get in the way a bit, but some adhesive velcro and that's easily remedied.

The media could not be loaded. This thing is a bust for $50. It causes extreme layer lines as the z axis increases. This is a known issue if you check the forums and read other reviews. It was supposed to be corrected with a different motherboard in the new ones they are sending out. I have one with the new motherboard and it’s still causing this issue. Due to the hight of the cape shown in my video this was an 11 hour print that ultimately resulted in a failure since the top looks awful compared to the bottom.

I am hoping to eliminate the need for a space heater in my printing room this winter to assure good prints. The heater is easy to monitor and has worked reliably so far. Its installation blocks the ventilation in the printer hood but it does have a small activated carbon filter to absorb VOCs. My air quality monitor did not raise any alarms. I have found it to be a bit more awkward to raise and lower the printer hood. I would prefer a stand alone device that did not have to be attached to the hood and could be readily used with older printers.
