I like Elegoo filament, even though it's a cardboard spool, and my Bamboo AMS hate cardboard. This is the yellow, and it prints well, doesn't break, and doesn't string on me. Does exactly what I need in multi colour prints, or standalone. Lovely yellow, very lemony.

Worst filament I’ve ever used. Used on my bambulab x1c ams and non stop issues with it being pulled back in or pulled into the extruder because it is wound up constantly crossed on the spool. TERRIBLE!!! *************EDIT************* Elegoo customer service reached out to me about my experience with the roll of filament I had purchased and has been extremely gracious about getting things worked out so that I have a great experience. I understand that they receive their material from a third party and that there may on occasion be some problems with quality control but usually shoot for a high quality product. Any company can have this issue and where Elegoo stands above the others is their desire and ability to correct the problem and make things right. I will definitely buy this filament again. The actual prints that I was able to complete looked very good. i hope that the issues can be fixed so others dont have the same problem. i think based on the response I have had the outlook for that is very good!!! ... show more

Awful experience. I ran a few small prints to see how it did, and everything went well so I set my longer print. I checked the web cam on my a1 mini and everything looked fine until I checked in later and found my print head backed up with wool-like filament waste. It took hours to fully disassemble the hot end and pull the clogs of filament out. Even the ptfe tube was starting to fill up with junk. ... show more

I bought 3 rolls, a yellow, a black, and a grey. I’m in the middle of printing a single multicolor model using the AMS on a P1S. At 4 hours into an 8 hour print, both the gray and yellow have gotten tangled multiple times during this print. The yellow somehow even had a knot tied in the strand. I don’t have any idea how you would even accomplish that. Edit: I watched it unrolling. It looks like the cardboard spool has uneven sides. So when the AMS goes to pull the filament out it is very easy for it to come off the rails and start unwinding. Also the filament itself seems twisted on the roll. Between those two problems it has zero chance of working right. I’ll probably just pull the sides of the spools off and throw the filament on a plastic spool. Edit 2: I am updating to 4 stars. The filament itself works great with almost no tuning on a P1S with an AMS. The only problem is the cardboard spools. I understand why they use cardboard. I also understand that if you do not have an AMS (or similar) system then the cardboard will have zero impact on your printing and everything will be just fine. Fortunately the spools are a perfect fit for the bambu lab spools - I have included a picture with the filament moved over. This made it trivial to take to the card board sides off and slide these rolls onto new spools. Once I did that I have had zero issues with printing. ... show more
