When ordering, I was struck by the beauty of the weave - and it's gorgeous! I opened a corner of the packaging, and it was as soft as I'd hoped. However, the material is so thin that it's more like a microfiber sheet than a blanket. I was looking for something to use in Central Texas with a/c and a ceiling fan, and with some comforting weight. Once I realized the fabric was very lightweight, I didn't fully open the package and am sending back the two colors I ordered. This is just what I was looking for! I was initially skeptical because the price was so affordable, but decided to take a chance. My sister had told me about bamboo sheets she had gotten elsewhere for a couple hundred dollars that were cooling and she adored, so I thought why not try this for less than $30?! I got the queen size in white and am so pleased! It is a soft, light weight summer blanket, but heavy weight enough to make me feel safe & snug when sleeping-and it is literally cool! I don’t understand how this could possibly be a queen size blanket. It barely covers my queen size bed. Maybe two extra inches around. Not long enough to tuck in anywhere.     • Not what I thought.
Soft, slippery but comfy. It's heavy even though it is incredibly thin. Once under it to sleep I didn't even know it was there. I liked sleeping with it but I'm going back to cotton for lighter weight and truly natural fiber instead of this highly processed stuff. I love bamboo but not like this.

This blanket just might be TOO COOL! I love it. I never dreamed when I bought it that occasionally I'd need to pair it with a quilt to keep from getting chilly. Also bought the cooling fitted sheet/mattress cover and the two work wonderfully together. Too soon to say how well it will hold up to wash, but I did note that putting in a dryer is a no-no. I will probably wash on gentle cycle and hang on a clothes line to dry. It's super soft and super snuggly and yes, true to its claim of being cool! <3 We moved my 93 father-in-law in with us and so we can't keep the house like a refrigerator anymore. This has been idea for hot nights when I can't sleep under the covers, I just sleep under this. I also use it on the couch when it's chilly in the house. It's very soft and keeps the chill off without being too hot. Washing I do on gentle cycle and it's been ok.
