Bought this for my elderly mother. Have spent about a week with it and she has used it about 3 times. It's very good for the price I paid with some minor issues. While it came together fairly quick, refolding it is proving difficult. It takes a good deal of force to reclose. It's not so heavy as impossible to lift for me, but it is weightier than I might have liked and I got sore muscles from loading it and unloading it. The design of the brakes is puzzling with their spring action setup. It never quite feels like they are either locked or unlocked, even though they definitely keep the chair in place. It feels a little weird when it first starts to move, but once it's in motion it's very smooth. The wheels are not as all terrain as I would hope, having some issues on bumpy asphalt but with enough speed it muscles through. All in all I consider it a worthwhile investment if not a perfect one.

I bought this eclectic wheelchair for my 87 year old father who recently has mobility issues. This chair is solidly built and super comfortable. It has plenty of power to get him around both inside and outside his house. The chair came assembled in the box and took minutes to add accessories and get him moving. I would buy this product again for my Mom when the need arises.

Well, here’s the thing. The chair it’s self is comfortable to sit in. However, I could not find any where in the description about how much it weighed. So I looked at several others and they mostly came in at 20 to about 40 lbs. so, I thought that would be okay! I was actually in the hospital when it was delivered. When I came home my son-in-law took it out of the box and he went over the control buttons, etc. Then he said why don’t you sit in it and see if you can drive into the kitchen. We were in the living room. So, I had to back up a little bit, then turn and head to the kitchen. I had to be really careful because if you press on the go button too much it goes fast very quickly. Son in law was walking behind me so he could grab hold if I got into difficulty. I managed to turn around very slowly without scraping the kitchen cabinets. I got back to the living room and I asked if it said how much it weighed. On the box in small print it said 60 lbs. My S-in-L said that-is pretty heavy. Let’s see if you and the wife could manage it. I couldn’t even get it off the floor and she got it up about 6 inches! So I decided then and there to return it. But, the real reason for the one star is the return policy. It took a long time for the company to respond to my request and as I was in the hospital again, I did not have my phone or IPad with me so I didn’t see the approval text until I got home and because it only had a few days window of use, they won’t issue another one!! So I guess I can say that the quality is good. I like the way that the arms are placed. They are set back away from your body so they don’t press into your sides. You could attach a carry bag to the side that you don’t do the driving with. However, this chair is made of steel not titanium like most of the others. So, you might want to consider that. I hope all this helps you make the right decision for your self or your person! Diane
