This travel bag has a lot of thoughtful parts to make it a very successful travel bag. I just used it for a five day motorcycle trip. Also very sturdy and should last a long long time.

Appears Durable
Color: Black
Size: 40L
The material is thick, seems well made. From some of the reviews, I feel others are not familiar with Dry Bags. The Velcro is not supposed to span the entire width of the opening nor is it designed to be the primary closure method and no, the Velcro is not there to stop water from coming into the bag. The Velcro is there to hold the two halves together as you fold the top over 2-3 times, making it easier to close, keep the opening aligned, and clip the ends using the buckles. THAT is how the bag is sealed. Dry Bags are just that, bags. Not inundated with inner pockets and filing systems. This is part of the appeal of these bags over standard backpacks. It's a duffle bag. Less joints, less fusing, prevents the bag from unnecessary wear and tear from inner parts which could develop leaks over time. I have not used it yet for travel, so I can't speak to the durability. When comparing it to other brands on Amazon, this had better looking strap attachments leading me to believe it will have less issues with straps coming off. I look forward to putting it through the test this summer and can update the review after more use. My initial impression though is that this was the right choice to purchase. I would caution against getting too big of a bag 60L, 70L, even the 100L if you intend to carry it using only the straps. You'll have a tendency to pack more stuff, use up the space, and add too much weight for a bag whose straps are fused on rather than sown directly to the bag. Another common issue I've gathered from reviews of other brands and larger bags.

This has plenty of room for bulky clothing. I use it to pack for cold weather (just in case) for shoulder season rides.
