We tried a small instant water heater from Amazon and since that didn't work so well, we replaced it with this unit. We've had this unit for a few weeks now and it's a game changer!!!! The water is so hot, I actually needed to turn it down. We have it in a Tiki Bar by our pool and control it with a switched outlet, and that has eliminated it running 24/7. I go out in the morning to turn it on, it takes about 30ish min to get to temp (There is light on the front showing if it's heating or not) and we're good to go. The surprising part is that if you are just washing a couple of glasses with hot water, it doesn't even turn on. When washing lots of dishes and platters from BBQing, the hot water keeps up easily. I have no leaks at all, it was installed using the hardware they supplied, just can't get better. This is a real review, they sent me nothing, and I have nothing to do with this company. Replaced water heater in a 25’ camper. Works excellent. Hot water to the back shower in less than a minute. I’ve taken extra long showers to run it out of hot water. Took just 8 minutes to fully heat up again. A breaker tripped one night (from the AC) and the next morning the water was still hot enough for showering. It does work, instant Hot water under the sink right to faucet 110volt plug plenty of water to do a bunch of dishes with the 8 gallon model. I would say if you want to have nice instant hot water at the shower just get another one and that way you know right at the source you got 8 gallons to work with. I love it!!! Great heater that saved us temporarily in an emergency after our gas-powered water tank died. We couldn’t immediately replace it and my husband was able to hook this up as a temporary set up so we could have hot water. It’s been the best!!!
