I just received this scooter, and I'm already in love. The unboxing was straightforward, and it came with a decent charge. First Impressions: It feels sturdy and well-built. The black finish looks sleek and professional. I was worried about the solid tires, but after riding on city sidewalks and some slightly rougher paths, I can say the ride is surprisingly smooth. The deck is nice and wide for my feet. Performance: The 500W motor has plenty of zip! I easily hit the top speed on a bike path, and it handled a moderate hill on my way home without slowing down much. The dual brakes are very responsive and make me feel safe. Portability: The folding mechanism is genius. It took me seconds to figure out, and I was able to store it in my trunk effortlessly. For the price, this seems like an incredible value. Got this one for my short commute between Light rail station and office. The 24lb weight is easy enough to carry on and off the bus or train even short distances. So far the battery charging is excellent. I’ve only been able to get it around 18 (that is not a problem for me). The brakes are a bit stiff; which is typical for new brakes, so be careful when you apply the brake. It runs quiet. The app works as it should and I do like the different modes, which are easy to cycle through on the scooter itself. The headlight is light up in front of you, though I’ve not been anywhere totally dark place. Can’t beat the price for a solid quality,smooth driving,easy to charge electric scooter. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The HopCycle Electric Scooter really impressed me. It’s lightweight and super easy to pull up and carry, which makes a big difference when I’m on the go. The fold lock is solid and safe—way better than my Phantom scooter, which only has a hook that always slips out when I try to carry it. With HopCycle, I don’t have to worry about that at all. It has three speed modes, and in “S” mode it flies up to 18 mph, which feels fast and smooth. Plus, it’s not only safer and lighter but also faster and cheaper than my Phantom. Nice little scooter. Hard to put air in the front tire, adapter that came with the scooter didn’t work, had to order one, that seemed to work fine. Have to adjust speed setting every time you turn it on, doesn’t stay on last setting.
