The items were great but there were no instructions as to how to put it together except one line in Chinese! A plastic bag of a million nails, plugs, etc. Only a photo of the drum set as it was shown on the picture on Amazon. I had to pay a handy man 4 hours to put it together. I was not pleased.

My 2 year old played this for 10 hours the day he got it and hasn’t stopped! Great sound. A real drum set, just for his size. The set up took about an hour and there are no instructions so that’s a little rough, but once it’s together it’s so fantastic

My son loves music and instruments so I knew he needed his own drum set for his 2nd birthday and this set did not disappoint! It is the perfect size for him both standing and sitting on the little stool. We used the drums in his 2nd birthday photo shoot and the results were adorable. If you already know how to put a drum set together (like my husband) then this set will be simple for you! The quality is good for a beginner set and the sound was great as well.

I bought this for my 6-year old granddaughter and she loves it. As a drummer, I can say it's a step above a toy set. The cymbals aren't worth mentioning...they work. The snare doesn't really have a snare sound, but there is a little buzz. The tom-toms are fine; all is pretty much within reach. All works well for a beginner to learn basics such as bass/hi-hat/snare coordination. If she stays with it and gets better, she'll probably get lessons from a professional instructor, on a bigger set. For now, we have fun, and I'm introducing her to listening to music to play along with.

I bought this set because my kids are reckless and would tear apart a child set in 2 seconds. I have a 3 and 4 year old and 5 and 3 year old nephews. They have beaten the heck out of this set and it still is kicking. Even my husband can play on it. This is worth it. Don’t buy the cheap kids ones, spend the extra and get this set. It’s worth it. Sounds great too! Just buy extra drum sticks because these suck.
