This electric scooter is overall a great gift. I bought it for my child for Christmas, and they really enjoy it. The only downsides are the speed and the way it starts. I wish the scooter would maintain a steady speed on its own, instead of requiring a kick push to activate the electric mode. With other electric scooters we’ve owned, you could simply press a button and it would automatically run at a set pace. This one claims to reach up to 12 mph, but so far we’ve only been able to get it up to about 5 mph, even with kick pushing.
