BEST SCOOTER! I spent hours researching electric scooters before choosing this one. I bought this for my 14 year old however my husband and I both ride it too. He’s 6 foot 200lbs and I’m 5’6 140lbs. So it works for adults too. The size is perfect for teens and adults. It’s a really smooth ride. The battery life is really good. We took these easily foldable scooters to Florida and rode them all day and only charged it before bed so we could ride them the next day. We rode them all around Seaside, Florida. The functionality is easy. It has controls to set the speeds lower too. We keep the speed 12mph and lower for our teen but turn that off when we ride it. It even has a headlight. This scooter is very durable. My kids are rough with it and it holds up great. I bought this because it’s a great value for the money. There are so many other more expensive electric scooters out there but seriously this one is so good.

The MAXSHOT electric scooter has a lot of potential, and in many ways it delivers. The dual suspension makes a noticeable difference on rougher sidewalks and uneven pavement, giving it a smoother ride than many scooters in this price range. The multiple speed modes are a great touch — being able to switch between 9, 16, 19, and 22 mph makes it versatile for both adults and bigger kids. The app control is surprisingly useful too, letting you adjust settings, lock the scooter, and monitor battery life without digging through menus on the scooter itself. However, my experience wasn’t perfect. Right out of the box, the scooter was missing one of the screws for the handlebar latch, which means it doesn’t fully latch the way it should. It’s still rideable, but it definitely affects confidence in the build quality. For something meant to be folded and unfolded regularly, that missing hardware is a pretty big oversight. Performance has also dipped faster than expected. After only about ten uses — and with a rider under 75 pounds — the top speed in sport mode has dropped by roughly 7 mph. That’s a noticeable difference, especially when one of the selling points is the higher speed capability. It still works, but it’s disappointing to see that kind of decline so quickly. Despite these issues, the scooter does have a lot going for it: solid range, comfortable ride, easy folding mechanism, and a good feature set for commuting or casual riding. If the quality control were a bit tighter and the performance held steady longer, this would easily be a 5‑star product. As it stands, it’s a good scooter with excellent features, but buyers should be prepared to double‑check the hardware and keep an eye on long‑term performance.

Super fun, and durable scooter. My 10 year old loves his electric scooter and has a lot of fun with it. I especially love that it comes with an app that you can install and program on your phone device enabling you to control some of the speed levels on the electric scooter. This was important for us and gave us the peace of mind of knowing he wouldn’t be cruising on the highest speeds on some busy, high traffic areas. The highest speed is 19 mph and you can significantly reduce it, though it’s not so fun if he is going snail pace. Folding it is very convenient, noise level is low, and the size is perfect for a ten year old, a 7 year old, and a parent! Just make sure you wear a helmet! It’s a fun device!
