  • So far so good.
Color: Black
I got this to commute to work and have some mobility. What I like; solid tires, head and taillights, with brake lights. Has plenty of power to take me where I need to go. Easy to fold up but takes some time to figure out the locking mechanism. Seems to handle well. What I do not like, the app! It's very limited and while it works, if you "lock" the scooter the display stays on. No auto shut off. While the power draw is minimal, I do not want the display on when locked. Cons; rougher ride than an inflated tire scooter. Living in AZ where goat heads are in abundance, solid tires are a must. The suspension on both tires helps but it's still noticeable. Drum brakes, would have preferred disk brakes, but they work. Kick stand, it's at the rear of the scooter. It holds the scooter in place, but a mid-mount kick stand seems like it would be more stable. As I've only had this a day, I'm happy with it, so like I said, "So far, so good". Will update if things change. ... show more

  • Love my E-scooter
Color: gray-yellow
I absolutely loved this E scooter! The first day I got it I was riding up and down the street testing it out and I was so excited and happy with how well it performed. It reaches speeds of up to 19 mph has reliable brakes and is surprisingly lightweight making it easy to carry and maneuver. Assembly was quick and simple and I had it ready to ride in no time. Overall its a fun fast and easy to use scooter. It also comes with lights for evening rides. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an electric scooter ... show more

  • Gives my teen some much-needed independence!
Color: Black
My husband and I ordered this for our 14-year-old so she could ride to and from her high school, giving her some independence. She’s also been riding it to nearby friends’ houses, fast food restaurants, etc. so it’s been nice having a little bit of a reprieve from me having to drive her everywhere. She loves the scooter. It seems to be safe and reliable, and it gives me peace of mind as a parent knowing she’ll safely make it to her destination. Love that it has a light, although we still try to get her to come home before it gets dark out. It’s also easy to fold and carry. It’s been a great introduction to road safety and road rules as well. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • A Safety Hazard on Two Wheels
Color: Grey-orange
Buying the Maxshot V1 SPRO has been one of the most frustrating purchases I have made. I bought this scooter partly because I have a knee injury and needed something dependable to make getting around easier. Instead, it has caused more inconvenience, concern, and physical strain. The first issue is the construction around the wheel and fender. The fender is positioned so tightly against the scooter body that whenever I turn the handlebar to the right or left, it scratches and rubs against the body. This should never happen on a brand-new scooter. It feels poorly designed and assembled, and it immediately made me question the overall build quality. The second and most concerning problem is that the scooter randomly stops working, even when the battery shows a full charge. This has happened around five or six times. Once it shuts off, it often will not turn back on until I connect it to the charger again. A scooter suddenly losing power during use is not merely annoying - it is dangerous. I should not have to worry about being stranded or abruptly stopping in the middle of a ride. The brakes are also extremely poor. They do not feel responsive or reliable enough for a powered scooter. Between the weak braking and the random shutdowns, I do not feel safe using this product at all. I contacted the seller and spent a significant amount of time going back and forth with them. They did communicate with me and tried to help by arranging replacement parts, but that does not change the fact that a brand-new scooter should not require the customer to replace components, troubleshoot multiple defects, and effectively repair the product immediately after receiving it. I purchased this scooter to reduce the strain on my knee, but the repeated problems have created even more stress and discomfort. At this point, there have been too many serious issues for me to trust the scooter, even if individual parts are replaced. I would never purchase this scooter again, and I cannot recommend it to anyone looking for something safe, reliable, and functional out of the box. Given the repeated shutdowns, poor brakes, rubbing fender, defective construction, and the amount of time spent trying to resolve everything, I strongly believe a full refund is the only fair outcome. ... show more

  • birthday gift
Color: gray-yellow
I bought this electric scooter as a birthday gift for a friend, and they absolutely loved it! It looks great, rides smoothly, and is easy to use. The battery life is good, and the scooter feels sturdy and well made. Definitely a fun and useful gift!

  • Meets expectations.
Color: Black
Scooter works so far. Goes pretty good on flat ground. If you’re a full size adult male it’ll be an absolute dog going up any inclines. Really struggles. All in all, don’t expect to be blown away by it. For the $260 it cost, I’d say it meets expectations. Battery life will be no where near what the manufacturer says. If you want something that can go up hills and maintain speed it’s going to cost note than this does. Good gateway scooter though excellent for kids. ... show more

  • Great for commuting
Color: gray-yellow
Ive been using the Maxshot electric scooter for a few days now, and it has completely changed my daily commute. Its quiet, its fast the 350W motor gives plenty of power for city riding, and it easily reaches the advertised 19 mph without struggling even on slight inclines. The folding design makes it very convenient to carry and store, especially when I take public transport. On a full charge I can comfortably get close to the 21 mile in range which is more than enough for my daily use. Perfect for commuting or just riding around the neighborhood. I highly recommended! ... show more

  • Nice Scooter, except!!!
Color: Black
I am fairly satisfied with this scooter. It is my first motorized scooter, so I bought a fairly inexpensive one to get a feel for what's important to me. I bought this mainly to ride along with my 4 1/2 year old grandson while he rides his bike or trike. For that purpose, it works well. My main complaint, so far, is that at speeds over 9 or 10 miles per hour the front wheel starts to vibrate (wobble). The problem is worse at higher speeds and more noticeable on smooth surfaces. I have considered returning it, if I could. Other than that, everything works well, and it feels sturdy. I am 215 lbs, and if I were to upgrade to something better, I would get something with more power. 500 watt is just barely enough power for me. Also, the brakes are just barely adequate at moderate speeds. Moderate Hill climbing is a bit of a struggle. The suspension system works fairly well, and I would not buy a scooter without suspension of some sort. If I were to upgrade, these features would be on my list: - A minimum of about 1500 watts (possibly dual motor) - Disk brakes front and rear wheels. - Pneumatic tires (not solid) - A more substantial suspension system. - A max load rating of over 300 lbs (so my 215 lbs would be more in the middle of the load range) Right now, I'm looking at possibly buying a ISINWHEEL brand 1600 watt (dual motor, dual disk brakes) scooter. I'm just trying to decide if I want to spend $600. ... show more
