  • It’s easier then I thought
Color: Ink Black
Great value for the money. The scooter feels solid and well made, with good overall quality and durability. It has plenty of speed for commuting and daily use, and the ride feels smooth and stable. I also really like how easy it is to fold, carry, and store, which makes it very convenient for taking in the car or keeping in a small space. Overall, a powerful, portable, and practical scooter for the price. ... show more

  • Not As Smooth As Expected, But Still Good Scooter
We are always going for scooter rides, whether we are traveling, taking a day trip somewhere, or just taking our dog for his nightly run. The scooters we currently have are a couple years old and pretty basic, so when I came across this HeroPick scooter E8 Pro with a higher top speed and more features, I thought it would be a nice upgrade to try. The scooter is a little bigger and heavier than I was expecting, but it is still portable enough to throw in the trunk and take with us. The overall quality is really good and it feels well made. Although, it did come with some of the paint already chipping off. Parts of the reflectors on one side were already chipping off. So I am a bit worried about how long those will last. Thankfully that isn’t a huge deal. Aside from that, assembly was incredibly easy. All I had to do was attach the handlebars to the pole, screw them into place, and attach the kickstand. It comes with everything needed, including a hex key, screws, and even comes with two extra screws. Folding and unfolding it is really easy. There is a clip on the front that unlatches and it opens without much effort. When folded, everything stays securely closed so I don’t have to worry about it accidentally opening while carrying it. The deck has plenty of room to comfortably stand on and the scooter feels really stable and balanced while riding. Connecting it to the app was probably the most frustrating part. The instructions say to use the regular Tuya app, but it kept telling me the scooter wasn’t supported even though the app was updated. Scanning the QR code then directed me to the Tuya Ride app. Since I had already tried pairing it with the first app, it took me about 30 minutes to get it to show up in Tuya Ride. I had to completely remove it through device management in the original app, make sure it wasn’t connected through my phone’s Bluetooth, reset it, and then pair it again. After doing that it connected perfectly and has stayed connected. The app actually gives you a lot of control. You can remotely lock the scooter, which creates resistance if someone tries moving it and triggers an alarm. You can change between four riding modes to control the top speed, choose zero start or kick start, turn cruise control on or off, control the headlight, switch between MPH and KM/H, check the battery percentage, and see your riding history. The riding logs even show the mileage, route, and time of each ride. It gets up to 20 MPH pretty quickly and is really easy to control and maneuver. We rode around downtown for a couple hours, going anywhere from slow speeds to full speed, and after around six miles it still had about half the battery left. I have also ridden it around our property in the country, including through the field and on dirt, and it handled everything without losing power. The display shows your speed, riding mode, battery level, and headlight status. It is bright and easy to read most of the time, although direct sunlight makes it a little harder to see. The headlight is actually bright enough to see where I’m going at night instead of just being there for visibility. The brake light is bright too, and both are still easy to see during the daytime. My biggest issue is the ride quality. The listing says it has dual suspension, but it definitely doesn’t feel like it. The ride is pretty rough and bumpy, even on relatively flat ground. I can feel almost every bump in the handle bars while riding. Our cheaper scooters actually ride smoother than this one, which I wasn’t expecting. There is also a weird spot on the deck where it feels like the top layer of the foot pad has an air bubble underneath it. If I step on that exact spot, it pops down and then back out. It doesn’t affect how the scooter performs, but it gets annoying. Definitely not something I want to deal with everytime I am riding. It almost feels like it is breaking it pops so much. I am also confused by some of the specifications. The listing says 600W, while the box says 500W. The listing also advertises a 15 to 25 mile range, while the box says 17.5 miles. Even riding on the lowest mode, I haven’t been able to get more than around the 17.5 miles stated on the box. So I definitely wouldn’t buy it expecting to consistently get 25 miles. It still is a good scooter, just not exactly the upgrade I was thinking it was going to be. But, it is still fun to ride and handles well. I like having all the extra features for convenience that I don’t have on my other scooter. So while it is not the smoothest option out there, for the price it is still a really good option. It would work perfectly for getting around the neighborhood, riding down to the store, or even exploring a new city. The current price is $299.99 (as of 9/30/26), which I think is a good value for the features and performance, although I am a little confused why some colors cost more than others. Overall, it is good quality, stable, easy to maneuver, and has several convenient features. One of my dogs favorite things to do is run next to me on the scooter. And this has been great for going faster enough to run her and give her good exercise. I even ride this down the street to the store most of the time instead of taking my car. It really is super fun and gets around good. I would recommend it. ... show more

  • I love my first electric scooter! Other than phone app requirement, easy to use!
I've always been curious about electric scooters as it seems the tech and the prices have made them much more viable as a non-car option for transportation. I've never used a non-electric scooter so I wasn't sure if I'd even be able to ride it effectively but I figured I'd give it a shot - especially with this kowoee HeroPick model which seems to balance price and size the way I wanted. It wasn't the most powerful or expensive but it was smaller and I hopefully lighter. As I wanted to use it for short shopping trips, I wanted it to be as small as possible so I could throw it onto the shopping cart and not have to lock it up. This unit ended up being heavier and a bit larger than I expected but I'm guessing the other ones I was looking at were even heavier and bulkier given the specs. There were some minor assembly steps I had to do before I could ride; attachment of the main handlebar with 6 screws and the kickstand with 2 screws. Unfortunately I also had to install a phone app to "activate" the scooter and it did not seem optional. Ironically one of the main reasons I wanted a scooter was so I'd get outside more and disconnect from technology, but I guess there's no escaping it and its rather upsetting that this step reminded me of how far we've fallen. Anyway, once I got it set up I topped off the charge and took it out for a spin - and I really love it! It moves fast and feels like it has plenty of power even though I feel I have yet to really push it to its limit. Its simple enough to the point where I could learn how to use it quickly. It has 3 "gear" modes and since I didn't really see what I had it set to before trying to learn it I found out I had it on the max setting the whole time. The brakes work well and feel solid and there's a lever below the brake for a bell, which hopefully I don't have to use. The handlebars feel solid yet controllable, and that section folds down and locks to the back of the scooter to make it more compact for moving and storage. The handlebars still stick out a lot to the sides and I wish I could fold them in, so I'm looking into maybe investing in some modifications for that. The charger is a small power brick with cords on both sides similar to a moderate laptop or mini PC so nothing huge or hard to replace on that front, and the plug going into the scooter is just like that of one of my laptops so I'm guessing they use the same parts ecosystem. You cannot charge the scooter and have it connected to your app as the whole thing is shut down if it is plugged in. Overall I am very happy with my first experience with an electric scooter and have fast become a fan of these kowoee / HeroPick scooters! The $300 asking price is a good value for the quality construction, and for budget was right in line with where I wanted something with more range and power than the bare minimum but did not have an overly large and heavy body like the more expensive models. Ultimately, the joy and fun I felt moving around with this is priceless - and I'm surprised that something as simple as a scooter like this can bring this much happiness! Recommended! ... show more

  • It’s very well-built, just like a Segway. It’s way better than a Gotrax.
Color: Matte Black
Things like ride mileage, your speed modes, and acceleration/max speed can all be monitored through the app, which is easy to set up and connect to the scooter. The headlight is bright for night riding I’ve owned a few scooters before, including Segways and Gotrax, and I’m happy to share my thoughts. - It’s very well-built, just like a Segway. It’s way better than a Gotrax. - The features are pretty good, but most other scooters online only have a few of these: (1) Large pneumatic tires, (2) dual braking (regenerative and drum), (3) brake light, front light, turn signal, (4) d ... show more

  • Fun E-Scooter
Being an electric scooter that will go 20 MPH with small non-pneumatic tires, this could be dangerous. PLEASE WEAR A HELMET WHEN RIDING THIS! This little scooter is a blast to ride. It gets up to 20 MPH in no time and just zips along. It did slow down on a hill near my house, but it was kinda steep and I am a big guy at 230+lbs. It did make it up but it slowed to 4-5 MPH by the top. My much heavier 750W E-Bike will accelerate up the same hill so I really doubt this is anywhere near 600W. I like that it folds up with a latch for the handlebars. It is a little heavy, but I can easily use the stem as a handle to carry it around. It arrived in a large box that did an excellent job protecting it during shipping. There was a bit of work getting it out and unpacked, but that is the tradeoff. Like others have mentioned, there is some assembly, but it is really easy with clear instructions. Other mentioned installing the app as a requirement, but I too am against an app for everything. Mine just started up and I rode it. I just use it for casual scooting around the neighborhood. I have let a couple of curious friends take it for a ride and they return with a big smile and comments about how fast it is. Overall, I am very pleased with this scooter. It is a lot of fun and will fit in almost any trunk or closet. ... show more

  • Normal rating is 500W, around 20 miles range or a bit less, 8 ah battery
I'm deducting one star because the actual rated power is 500w (it says it on the box) with the range 17 miles (it says it on the box) however aside from that I"m super happy with it, and it does have quite a bit of power. I think max rated power in bursts is 600w or something like that. Has a suspension that's better than other scooters I've ridden, which is a plus. If you are buying this for your child, this is more of an adult scooter, make sure they are able to handle a scooter with a bit more power. Folds up pretty well, but this is pretty big. ... show more

  • It works great, with nice speed, and super happy with the purchase. It's well made.
Color: Matte Black
I have not tried riding it too far, but the battery seems to be enough for short rides around my neighborhood. This electric scooter comes with an impressive high‑capacity 36V 15.6Ah removable battery. Kids also love it. The 3 modes help with having different setups for me, the big kids, and small kids to ride without having to make a special setup through the app each time. ... show more
