I've been using this scooter for about a month now, and I've only needed to charge it for the second time. I ride around 30 minutes a week, and the battery life has been much better than I expected. Sometimes I carry an extra 40 pounds of weight, and while it does slow down a little, it can still make it up small hills without any problems. The ride feels smooth, and it has been reliable for my daily use.I mainly use it for short trips around my neighborhood, and it has been very convenient. The scooter is easy to ride, easy to fold, and doesn't take up much space when stored. I was a little worried about the battery before buying it, but it has exceeded my expectations. Even after several weeks of use, I still don't have to charge it often. The build quality feels solid, and everything has worked as expected so far. I really like not having to worry about charging it all the time. The long battery life is probably my favorite feature. After 4 months. Scooter seemed ok, to run errands around neighborhood. Average speed 17 mph. For me is fast enough . Uphill is a different story. The heavier you are the slower it is. Seem to kill battery quicker if you do to many hills. I think for the price it's worth it EXCEPT FOR THE BATTERY CHARGER, SUDDENLY BROKE AT THE WIRE CONNECTOR TO BIKE PLUG. ON FOURTH MONTH. Trying to get a replacement, but can't figure out which one to order. It don't give you info on it and website for the company link don't work at all. ... show more

I bought this scooter mainly for short trips around my neighborhood because I was getting tired of moving my car for every little errand. After riding it for a couple of weeks, I’m really glad I made the purchase. It was easy to set up, has smooth acceleration, and the brakes feel reliable. The battery life has been more than enough for my daily errands, and folding it up for storage is simple. I owned an old brand name model which had flat tire and I bought the tire kit to try to fix myself but unfortunately I broke the wire while installing, so I decided to buy a new one with solid tire, and avoid from possible flat tire again. Though it's solid tire it's yet comfy to ride on because it still provides a bit bouncy feedback. The motor is very powerful with me carrying another teenager sometimes - not recommended but it at least gives you an option just in case you need it. The scooter was very easy to assemble and folds down nicely. I am able to take it on a rail trail nearby with small gravel chips with no problem. For the quality of the scooter we have a local rail trail that is relatively flat so I would have expected that the scooter could go 16 miles as advertised. It does not and the battery is dead after 6 miles. The description also states that it can reach speeds of 19 mph. The speed is not achieved even going downhill. The max speed that I have achieved is 14 mph. Mainly disappointed in the lack of battery life BUT with the cost of the scooter this should not have been surprising. It may be that the battery overheats because if I turn the scooter off for a few minutes I will gain a bar back in the battery life. It is fun and due to speed very safe. Its heavy to carry but easily rolls beside me when I am walking beside it. UPDATE: The company actually offered to send me another battery due to the poor batter charge- waiting on the delivery from them and will see if the replacement improves the problem. If it does will come back and let you know and improve ratings as well. There is value in good customer service !!! ... show more
