Wanted to live with the scooter for a bit before reviewing. And on that front, and really all around, I'm pretty happy with this purchase. Just as a rule of thumb with these, when you scale up to adult sizes & weights, the specs get cut by about 20%. This particular scooter was no exception - top speed was listed @ 19 mph, according to the scooter's speedometer, I was topping out right @ around 16mph. The speedo was kind of "blinking" between 15 & 16 mph most times, but I was able to sustain 16 mph, albeit in short bursts, going flat out on the accelerator. The specs were one of the biggest selling points for me. They were better across the board than most of the scooters in this price range. The scooter has performed flawlessly so far. A quick note on the vendors ... they were AWESOME!! Had an issue with the scooter upon receipt, so I reached out. They were attentive & accommodating. I really felt they were very invested in my satisfaction. After a few exchanges, we were able to satisfactorily resolve the issue. If I buy another scooter, I'm definitely going to see what they have available before looking anywhere else. 5 star experience all around. And I think that's saying something after having to deal with an issue right out of the box. ... show more
