The max speed and max range advertised is close to life (with my mixed use of going on flat roads and a bit of uphill travel). Fast charging speed between uses. Since I got this electric scooter I had lots of fun with it, I use it both for commute and fun rides. The product was assembled most of the parts when was delivered, it took me only about 10 minutes to fully assemble it. Also I was able to charge the battery in full quickly because it was half full when was arrived. The ride is very smooth and quiet with stable attraction on the road. The brake works really well too. It can provide a quick and smooth brake. Also, the battery life can last the description of the range when it fully charged. I can fold the scooter and put it in my car easily. I like take it with me to explore different national parks. It made my life much easier and enjoyable. Overall, the quality of this electric scooter is really great. I bought 2 Scooters, The Volpam and Maxshot. Both are 10" tires with 500w. The Volpam actually holds my weight and let's me travel farther than the Maxshot. The Maxshot was suppose to have 20° incline VS the Volpam with 15° incline but I find the Volpam carries me farther with better battery range than the Maxshot. I bought these scooters for my girlfriend and myself for joy rides. She weighs 100 lbs less than me and I wondered if that was the reason for the significant battery drain on my Maxshot. We switched scooters and the Volpam carried me as far and fast with better battery life than the Maxshot. (IN CONCLUSION) You will be better off buying the Volpam than the Maxshot if your 170 lbs and want to go father. I can go around 16 miles distance with Volpam at max speed VS 12 miles with Maxshot at full speed. ... show more
