For the price, I am really blown away by this! I recently tried and returned the Segway ZT3 Pro, which costs about 1k after tax. The differences are not nearly as expansive as you'd expect for something that is just a fraction of the price! They're by no means similar in terms of build quality, but I prefer this by leaps and bounds. It has a very impressive ability to speed up, its light weight and maneuverable, and simply gets the job done! It's far from perfect, but seriously, for this price? Hard to complain! Of course, I'm basically going to, because that's the point of a review. Pointing out flaws. For starts, the top speed borders on being a lie. I'm 5'6, 135lbs, and I'm lucky to get 17mph out of this thing. It has never once gone over that, which is unfortunate. The cruise control also doesn't work. It does not even exist. There IS technically an app for this, but the reviews for it (2.2 stars) echo its issues. It just doesn't work either. You can set things like top speed and the cruise control function, but it doesn't save settings, and therefore, does nothing at all. And my god, they claim 21-28 miles on this thing? Maybe if you're walking it 90% of the way. I got, at best, 8 miles on a full charge. So, top speed is a bust, the app is a bust, and the cruise control is a bust. The distance is also a MASSIVE bust. The ride is also not smooth at all. It is perfectly acceptable and works just fine, but it would be a lie to call it smooth. I have no issue with it, but if someone is less tolerant of bumps and sudden jerks, it's really worth noting. More than that, though, what concerns me is the longevity of the scooter. For the price, I don't expect 10 years of life, but this thing feels like it's going to shake itself apart. What really doesn't help is that the scooter arrived pre-cracked. A (hopefully) unimportant plastic component was already coming undone before I even took it for a ride. There are also visible smudges of what I think is glue in several spots. This thing is more than likely to die after a year or two. The range is very impressive for the price. Even maxing out its little engine at 17mph, I was able to make it 7 or 8ish miles. The problem is that they're claiming it can do 21-28 miles, which is genuinely just insane. Even if I weighed 90lbs, there's still no shot it can do that. I was riding primarily flat streets with almost no hills for the range test. I really hate lies like this in marketing, because there's simply no real-life environment in which they even managed to pull results like that. Now is a good time to note, though, that the thing just slays on hills! It kept 14-15mph up a very steep and even bumpy hill! That's part of why it's so weird that it capped out at 17mph. The thing has power in it, but it's hidden away. Despite all these flaws, if you KNOW them, and still think it's worth it, I agree! This would be perfect for commuting a short distance (or medium one if you can charge it when you arrive), getting around a campus, or just exploring your city! Its slower speed makes it great for a simple cruiser, and its light weight makes it fantastic for if you live on a second floor with very tight stairs that a bike just can't fit down. For the price, I love this little thing. Just wish they'd stop lying. Now, for the sake of clarity, it may not be their fault. The title displayed does not change when you select a different variant, even after you've ordered the product and return to the page. I’m about 230lbs and on max settings in the app I can get up to 13-14mph. The app functions are very silly in my opinion because there’s basically no way to toggle stuff like the headlight without it, which makes you stop riding. Why there aren’t buttons for stuff like that? Tis’ cheap. But Good cheap in a way. Quality wise it feels solid but I wish they used metal for the foot pad, maybe I’m weird. The tires are airless, and it is AWD/2WD. Both wheels get power. Largeish cracks scares me a bit in my apartment parking lot (chunks of concrete missing, big ones, would probably wipe out going over them) but otherwise it’s just a bit rougher than a VEO scooter. Overall slightly smaller than one too. Range wise this does not reach as far as it says. My campus trip is 2.5 miles and it was on flashing red low on the way home. Trying a second charge and testing it tonight but I’m sure I’ll find the same results as I started at full. For 150? Pretty good. I would hold off if this goes over 180. There’s some decent options at costco as well in the 400 range if you’re not sure on this one.

It’s really heavy to carry about 35 pounds so if it dies you’ll have to walk while carrying it, the bar gave me blisters. The height is alright about 4 feet. It was also pretty easy to assemble you can use it right away after taking it out of the box. I would recommend this for anyone that have long commutes and need to get to places faster than just walking. DO NOT use the kickstand with your hand it gave me really bad blisters and it has cut me so be very careful around that part, my thumb is still healing and it’s been 3 weeks.

The bike is great. I can get to my girlfriend‘s house in like 25min and she lives like three neighborhoods away from me. It’s an overall great electric scooter, and the app controls are nice to the only problem I have with it is how sometimes the Bluetooth on the app cuts out, but it still stays locked.

Just received and set up, charged up. Seems to run fine, and feels solid. Did not go a full 5 stars because the brake light doesn't light up at all. Headlight seems to work fine, just no red light in the back. Any suggestions or help would be helpful before i have to return the product.

I love it. It’s totally worth buying it I enjoy it and don’t need to walk to school or anything even though it’s winter it’s still useful and fun it comes with battery and everything needed to assemble. The battery last a lot.

I would give this a 5 star, it's 4 cause the cruise control isn't working. I had a similar model, the V1 so I know how to operate it. But as far as looks, economical value, performance, it's hard to beat, I'm deciding to keep it as I don't drive long distances anyways and the CC is something I can do without. I went out of my way to.get the same model V7 is an upgrade/ newer model of the V1. My old scooter got stolen, and it's only after that l, I realized after 3 days of online searching, it's very hard to beat a Max Shot comparing it with others on the market with the same price. This e scoot is top dog among it's peers for performance on value. I would recommend this to any one with a budget One you get used to his e scoot, it's just hard to beat unless you want to spend a lot more.
