Setting my personal five-digit combination was quick and easy with the clear instructions, and I appreciate the extra security from having an additional digit compared to standard four-digit locks. This cable lock works well for what it is: a basic, lightweight security option for scooters and bikes. The 5-digit combination is easy to set and gives more possible combinations than the typical 4-digit locks, and I like not having to keep track of a key. The coiled cable is convenient for quick stops, securing a helmet, or locking a scooter to a rack, and the included mounting bracket makes it easy to carry without tossing it in a bag. The lock mechanism on mine was smooth and easy to use, and the weather-resistant coating seems durable enough for everyday commuting. That said, it's still a cable lock. Like most cable locks, it can be cut with the right tools, so I wouldn't rely on it alone in high-theft areas or for long-term parking. For an expensive e-bike or scooter, I'd strongly recommend pairing it with a quality U-lock or heavy-duty chain lock for better protection. This comes with instructions on how to set/reset this lock's combination. This cable lock looks and feels to be well made, suitable for the intended purpose of securing something like a bike in a low-risk situation. I don't know that this is something I'd trust with my most valued possession, but for a quick lock-up and theft deterrent, I think this is well suited for that. The lock was easy to reset and is easy to lock and unlock. This lock is especially convenient for taking with you to lock up something for a while without having to carry any extra keys around with you. The cable makes it versatile in how/where/what is locked up. For the quality, convenience and light security this provides, I think the price is fair. I have been dealing with these two broken scooters since Early June. You said you couldn’t return because of the 30 day expiration date. Due to you using fed ex I had to hunt down the machines for 10 days then once I recieved them I was waiting for you or Amazon to send me paid postage to return and you wouldn’t. I have yet to have any help from the seller. This is fraud as you gave me two ma Hines that do not work. In addition to the scooters not working the stem and light are damaged in one. ... show more

I purchased this 5-digit combination cable lock for use with my bicycle, and overall it has worked well for my needs. One of the biggest advantages is the 5-digit combination. Compared to a standard 4-digit lock, the additional digit greatly increases the number of possible combinations, making it much more difficult for someone to guess the code within any reasonable amount of time. I also appreciate that you can set the combination to a number of your choosing. The package includes instructions for programming your personal code, and I found the directions easy to follow and complete in just a few minutes. The included mounting bracket is another nice feature. I was able to find two different locations on my bicycle where the lock could be mounted conveniently (see photos). The bracket attaches securely to a variety of tube sizes, and the included rubber liner helps improve grip while also allowing the bracket to fit smaller diameter tubes. When it's time to use the lock, the red release button makes removing it from the storage bracket quick and easy. There are a couple of areas that could be improved. The combination dials are harder to turn than I expected, and they have very little texture to help with grip. I also noticed that some of the white paint on the numbers had already rubbed off (see the number "9" in the photo). While this doesn't affect functionality, it does raise some concerns about long-term durability and readability. Overall, this is a convenient bicycle lock with good security, an easy-to-set combination, and a well-designed mounting system. If the dials were easier to grip and the number markings were more durable, it would be an even better product. ... show more
