My high end sander’s cord was damaged in the middle of a project and I needed a quick fill in while I waited for a replacement. This performed better than I expected. Much better than your standard box store random orbit. Dust collect is good. Much better than anything with a bag but not as good as premium models like a Mirka or Festool. Lots of power variability. The highest setting is too high for any of my purposes and the lowest setting is very low. The middle settings were a sweet spot for the pine I was finishing at the time. Coupled with quality abrasives and a vacuum this unit very close to what I would consider a pro level tool. Takes standard size backing pads with a 5/16-24 stud and works fine with both 5” and 6”. The items worth criticism that prevented a 5 star review are the rest of what came with it. The dust hose is useless. Barely fits the machine and doesn’t fit my vacuum or any adapters. It is also way too stiff and has a very tiny inner diameter. I can’t comment on how effective it is vs a good hose because I gave up trying on it. The disks with it are what you would expect. Freebies that should not be used for anything you care about. The wrench is flimsy, but that seems to be the case with even high end tools lately. The case is fine for storage but not something convenient to use regularly. Hose has to be disconnected and cord wrapped very neatly to close. All in all, I would recommend if you are needing better than box store quality but don't have the budget for the premium professional brands.

Easy to hold, low vibration in slow to medium high settings, good dust collection. only had it for 2 most. used it on 2 diferent projects, I really like it a lot. Great value "IF" it holds up in the long run.

I've used cordless up until now. The battery doesn't run out and covers a lot of sqft to sand. Hopefully I can find a polishing kit for it.
