I bought one of these over the winter when my main heat went out. Being in the times of covid and having two very fragile people in my home I was worried about having someone come in to fix our heater. I already had one heater for the living room and one of the bedrooms but needed something for a smaller room in our home. This was perfect. On low it will chaise you out of the room as time. It never feels hot to the touch and I feel it to be more safe then the others I have had. In fact I bought another one to replace the one in the other room. The only thing negative I could say is that when you put it on high it has that heater smell so I just use it on low and still nice and warm. It is a little higher then some but a wonderful purchase. The heater did a decent job warming, though it felt like it needed to be on high to heat a 10 x 8 room. The “light show” of a simulated fire, was different and made your space feel more cozy.

Know it’s very small and cute. I thought it was going to look a little more like fire. Definitely looks electrical , but kills the chill in a very small area. I like the safety features. We ll see how my electric bill is after a month in January using it for hours at a time.

Bought this to add a little warmth to our RV living room and didn't want something we have to build in (so, portable). It gives off great heat and the fake fire and glow is very pretty and romantic after the kids go to bed. ;) Love the retro feel of the design and the safety features it offers (like turning off if it's lifted or tipped over). No remote controls came with ours, and it would have been nice I suppose. But just another remote to keep track of. ... show more
