This is my first at home slicer, so i really have nothing to compare it to. It was an easy set up and storage. I noticed the cheese gets stuck and doesn't slide right. but i have found a few tips and tricks that have helped. I think the only problem I have with the product is the noise level. It's super loud!!!! And clean up it a little more difficult then they say it is. cheese gets smashed into small crevices and isn't so easy to get out. but it does the job!!! This meat slicer cuts meat well however, you can only slice meat the size of the tray anything larger than that and it won’t fit.

I don't plan to use this every day, so I wasn't interested in paying top dollar for a commercial grade slicer. I bought this mainly to slice ham and sous vide roasts and it does this job well. It saves me money and allows me to alter thickness of slices based on my needs at the time. I've also sliced bread and some vegetables. Having 2 blades is a nice feature and the catch tray is great, as well. It does take a lot of work to clean, so I usually only bring it out when I have a lot of things to slice. ... show more
