  • Light weight around-the-house pressure washer
I got this pressure washer for washing my car, cleaning the driveway and other various light weight pressure washer duties. I have a small trailer that gets washed after heavy use and this works perfect for that as well. It is compact and light weight so it is easy to maneuver and store after use. It comes with everything you need except for the water supply and electrical supply. The water hose connection works with almost any standard size garden hose end and the electric plug is a standard 110VAC three-prong plug. The electric cord is nice and long so (depending on your needs) you shouldn't need a very long extension cord (especially if you have a nearby outlet). The pressure washer's hose is nice and long so you can easily get around your vehicle for washing and the whole unit is light weight and on wheels so it's easy to pull where you need it. Of course, your water hose will need to be long enough to go with it. This washer came well packaged and will need some assembly. It comes with 4 different wand tips for changing the spray pattern and pressures for your needs. It also comes with a soap bottle for spraying a soap foam on your car and then change tips for rinsing the soap and dirt away. I'd suggest diluting a liquid soap with at least equal parts water to make it spray better. I've used this for spraying off my drive way as well and it does a good job but still takes a little while. I like to hook up the water, turn on the water from the spigot, connect the wand and hose and then pull the trigger on the wand until I can tell that all the air is out of the water hose before turning on the pressure washer power for actual use. When you turn on the pressure washer, the motor doesn't actually engage (power on) until you press the wand trigger. Then, it will continue to run until you release the trigger. Just make sure that the hose for the wand and the tip is securely seated and aim the wand in a safe direction such as the ground when you first pull the trigger just in case something goes shooting off of it. Don't want to hurt anybody or damage your property. After use, just disconnect everything, wrap the hose back up (after draining the water) and store . Easy peasy. ... show more

  • Light, Compact, Great for General Use
This is my first pressure washer, and overall, I find it to be a great tool, with just a few minor issues -- and one "bigger" issue that would probably only be resolved by purchasing a higher-priced unit. It is incredibly lightweight, compact, and easy to store and operate. It has plenty of pressure for quick cleaning of patio furniture, vehicles, window screens, and whatever else. I got this to help clean off a cement walkway to my home where birds congregate to get out of the sun during the summer and leave their "evidence" behind. It worked reasonably well on the cement, but now, having entered the world of pressure washing, I realize that at 1500 PSI the unit is more underpowered than others for that specific task. This means keeping the nozzle closer to the ground and a much longer task than one would think. It gets tiring holding the handle for extended periods of time, and there is no way to lock it in the open position. It also means exerting energy to control the nozzle direction with the reflected energy of the water hitting so close to the ground. It removed deeply embedded grime that I could not have otherwise, but it was way more work than anticipated. The foam gun works well but isn't adjustable like some others. The pressure is not adjustable, so it is incredibly important to select the right nozzle to avoid damaging items that could be affected under high pressure. These are features I would probably look for if I were purchasing a new one -- but this unit is certainly good enough not to feel like I need to get something else. One annoyance is that the power cord does not have a dedicated place to wrap it around. The manufacturer has a place they *say* it goes, but it really doesn't wrap or store well there. I'll probably look for some water-tolerant hook-and-loop straps or rubber-band-like items to keep the power cord bundled when storing. ... show more

  • Makes car washes a breeze
When using any pressure washer, there are a few things to be mindful of. You should never attempt to run it while the water source isn't on. You should always spray it at the ground first before pointing it at your car, just in case a connection isn't tight and something flies off. As for this unit, some assembly is required when you first get it. The whole thing feels pretty light, which makes it easy to carry around, but also makes winding the hose a bit of a hassle since you need to secure the unit. That aside, it provides a strong and consistent stream of water. I was easily able to wash off some spots of mold growing around the corners of my house using the 15 degree nozzle. As for the foam gun, it doesn't make a very thick foam, but that's common for cheaper nozzles. If you want a better foam, I'd invest in a dedicated foam gun. That being said, it still gets the job done and covers the car in enough soap to wash with. The soap doesn't get consumed very quickly, and I was able to cover two cars with foam using 30mL of soap diluted 1:2 and there was still some left over. I switched to the 25 degree nozzle for a more gentle stream to rinse the car, which worked quite well. Overall, I was quite surprised with how little water this power washer consumed. After I finished washing my car, there was hardly any runoff going to the street, which is a dramatic difference from when I was just using a hose. I can't speak to the longevity of the motor yet, but I'll report back if it fails prematurely. ... show more
