It is on the thin side and yes you can feel the wires BUT it does not take away from the comfort of the blanket. I have tucked the blanket under my back and I don’t feel the wires. It heats up fast and is just what I was looking for to snuggle up in. Definitely with the price.

This is a thinner blanket so it’s not too hot on warmer nights. Love the velvet feel to it much more than the “harder” feel many full-sized heated blankets do. I used the “warm” setting on a warm night and it was great! It’s really warm on “hot.” I really like this blanket!

It seems to wane on heat after a while! I should have sprang for a more expensive one. No timer. It auto shuts off after 10 hours. It has nice heat the first few hours, but by the time I wake up it’s not? Only in spots? I don’t like how thin and far apart the filaments are. Plus they do not go all the way to the edges. You have a good foot from end of filaments to the hem of the blanket. For a large blanket like this, you have to sleep right in the middle! As for quality, it says no piling. But it comes vacuum packed, and shed all over my teal sheets. I’m not sure it’s the size they say it is, I have not actually measured it. I will say it is soft! ... show more
