I got this fireplace for my daughters bedroom because her room is in a direction which does not get any sun during winters and is always very cold. I really like the compact and portable design that will take very little floor space and can be used in small spaces easily. Her room is about 400 square feet and this fireplaces heats it up within no time. This heater comes with a remote which has a good range it can operate from. My daughter uses it from her bed and the heater is across in the corner and it works just fine. The unit also has controls on the front which can be accessed by opening the decorative metal door. The temperature, blower, brightness of flames can all be adjusted with a click. I love that the flames also have multiple color options to pick from which makes it look so pretty at night. My daughter sets the brightness to lowest at night and it works as night light too. The main unit is on sturdy raised metal legs which keep it away from carpet so the floor does not heat up. Timer settings are also very useful. It is a very well made strong unit which is easy to operate and will keep us warm in winters.

This is a super little heater. It's substantial without being too cumbersome. It is ALL metal, even the legs. The door is glass. It arrived very well packaged and protected. It included 2 EXTRA screws AND even included batteries for the remote (LOVE that). The flame and bed can be color changed and dimmed independently. It looks very realistic for a faux fire. It has an excellent temperature range. Assembly (just have to attach legs) was simple and took maybe 10 minutes, at most. Learning curve for operation took maybe another 10. I like it more than the other, similar, heater that I bought not long ago and I didn't think I could like one better. This one also cost less. I'm VERY happy with this heater.

Very well made heater, metal construction and metal legs which is a plus. I like the features, that you can have the flame set to any combination of cool to warm to hot appearance and just have it as a night light or else complimenting the warmth of the heater for a lovely effect. I love this heater & I love that it has a remote control and I also like that the heat comes out of the top part of it not the bottom, so my kitties don't get burned baking their bodies in front of it on the floor. I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't like the air being dried out when they heat a room.

I'm in coastal NC, and we had a blast of very cold air that lasted a week. Bought this little fireplace heater to replace a Duraflame that was lost in the move. PROS: The top doesn't get hot - very good. The flames are pretty, and I appreciate being able to tone down the light and the amount of "flames." Seems heavy duty. Arrived quickly. Like the remote; it's small and includes all the features available. I like that you can see the colors and "flame" from 3 sides. It's quiet. CONS: The weight - this thing is pretty heavy. The "logs" only appear as either red or yellow. My biggest complaint is the direction of heat; it only goes up - not straight out like the photos. The only way to feel the heat is to stand within 2' of the unit. The 5' cord is really short - sounds like a lot but it is not. The bumpers on the glass door need to be a little more robust; the door will slam against the body of the unit if you're not careful (if you don't use the remote, you access the control panel by opening the door). Wanted to give it 5 stars just because it looks so nice, but the overall heat direction is poor.

Changing the temperature up and down is not intuitive. Pressing multiple buttons to do so is not exact and many time results in changing the flame or bed color in the process. Just an annoying thing, but, the heater looks good and puts out good heat.

The s a nice electric heater. It’s easy to use and set the temperature you want. It’s pretty to look at and not too loud. I can’t seem to get the fan to turn off, hence the missing star. It should only run the fan when the element is on and heating, but it just runs all the time, blowing cold air when the element is off. Overall a nice electric heater tho.
