It’s nice that it has heat as an option but you can also have it on without heat if you like. No complaints so far! Makes our living room cozy and gorgeous. The media could not be loaded. First, it was ridiculously easy to assemble. I budgeted an hour, anticipating more because Murphy’s Law, but when I unpacked it, I knew that I’d have plenty of time spare. I think it took me about 30 minutes at a casual pace. The majority of your time will be spent lining up 5 pieces and then placing 24 screws through 12 brackets. Then adding the fireplace/heater element just takes 4 screws. That’s it. Second, it looks way sharper than I expected. Check out the video I uploaded. Yeah, it’s an electric fireplace, but it’s really not bad! Buy with confidence. My wife and I are tickled pink with this purchase, almost irrationally so. We love it! ... show more

This was easy to assemble. I love the design. The heat feature and flame featurework well. I was surprised at how realistic the flames actually were. HOWEVER, this was purchased because it was WHITE. It is NOT white. It is more similar to ivory with lots of yellow hues. Very disappointed!

I ordered this heater for our screened porch which has glass for the winter, it get chilly in the winter and in between months, this heater is very convenient as it’s electric and can be placed anywhere in the room. The heater has some weight to it which surprised me, it looks good and reasonably made, it’s hard to say right now to how well it will heat the room as it’s still the summer months, but I’m sure it’ll take the edge off and add a cost glow. ... show more

    • Fireplaces are uncommon this far South, but sometimes you just want to sit in front of one.

100/100 This fireplace/stove is incredible. I needed a unit like this for a specific spot and THIS fills the need perfectly. The stove looks great and is SOLIDLY built. All that necessary is to install the legs on the bottom and set it upright. Plug it in and turn it on! There is a remote, but I find it to be very limited. You have to point it straight at a specific point and it still my not work until you get right up on the unit. By then, it’s easier to just open the door and turn it on manually. Now, the “fire” itself. It’s fake. If you sit and stare at it, it’s obviously fake. If you set it, turn it on, and sit around like you normally would, it looks pretty real! If it’s cold, you can even turn on the heat. The only thing missing is the sound. A roaring, crackling fire. You can have that, too with a little creativity . . . like place a speaker under the stove at the back playing a loop of a crackling fire. There are different levels of settings to adjust the flame color and speed, and once set, they become the "default" when turning it on. The curved "flame" screen is nice as it give the fire depth and allows it to be seen through the side windows adding to the realism. Ultimately, is it worth the price? YES ... show more
