This pregnancy journal from The Momentiqa Store for a first time mom is a nice guided album to share with the first child or the family later in life. The book gives ideas and pages for different landmarks or things that happen along the way.it has several pieces of insight and suggestions I had not seen compared to 4 other baby books I have chosen in the last couple of years. There are pockets to save small items like tickets to a movie, a ribbon, trimming of hair etc. The pockets are sturdy and feel like good quality. The peach and soft greens colors are earthy and calming to me. I like the footprint kit that is included. In my opinion, alone the footprint kit is basic and simplistic but adding a footprint to the larger book, is a great way to personalize the memory of how tiny we are when life begins. The book has a spiral to hold the pages. The binding has paper that the spiral goes through. This is not as sturdy as I would like for long term use. The result is that the pages sag somewhat when the book is standing on its end. Overall the design, the color, and the layout of the book are beautiful for a family heirloom or for a thoughtful gift. The book is gift boxed from the manufacturer and includes a satin ribbon for a quick finishing touch. I think this is a great value and I would definitely choose this book again. ... show more

This is one of the nicest baby memory book that I have seen on the market. Very thoughtful, detailed, quality pages, and all kinds of places for personal entries and special memories. One of a kind book from pregnancy to birth, brings up ideas and notions that maybe would not have been something that the new mom would have included otherwise. Very thought provoking to build a permanent memory record of the pregnancy. Photo sections, the story behind the name of the baby, the list goes on and on---just a great memory album. Plus, there is an ink pad with complete instructions to get the baby's imprint right away. The attention to detail is apparent, will be a great item to look back on through the years and something the baby will cherish when they one day have their own children. Very simple and easy to fill out. I like that it doesn't have weird prompts like some pregnancy journals that I've gotten in the past. There aren't too many questions, so I don't feel overwhelmed trying to fill everything out. I feel like there is plenty space in each area. I love the pockets throughout so I can slip in ultrasounds and other mementos during each trimester. I think it's awesome that they include a touchless ink pad to get hand and footprints with! My last pregnancy I didn't think to have one and the hospital never gave me prints, so I didn't get hand and footprint until my baby was a couple weeks old. The spiral binding is nice and the quality of the pages seems good for the price! ... show more

Excellent Product! This book is surprisingly high quality! It comes well-packaged in a nice box, perfect for gift giving! The pages are quite thick and thoughtfully designed with sharp, clear lettering and decorative designs. There are little folders to include pics or other trinkets from pregnancy; hospital bracelets, etc.. The journal names specific milestones which are fun and gives you a neat idea of where your baby is in its stage of growth. There are spots for ultrasound pics...literally, this book has thought of everything. What a fun treasure to look back on when your babies are growing/grown. So much of pregnancy we forget about and it's fun to look back on the special moments, and even some of the struggles. There is also an included ink pad for your babies little foot prints. This is so thoughtful in its design and the execution of the book itself. The entries aren't overwhelming and even a person who wouldn't normally journal will find that it's engaging and easy to write in with the specific sections. Great purchase!
